Anyway, nice hit MDF. Great week! I hope you will continue with quality picking in next tournaments as well
Petko is about as German as they come. Just look at her mug. Next you will say that Hingis is a Czech playing for Switzerland.

Anyway, I watched a bit of the 2nd semi-final (had Bencic to win 2-1). I thought that in terms of shot-making and even drama it was a higher quality match than the first semi-final. Both players played pretty well. I am a bit baffled that Cepelova is +225. I know this is her first final and all, but I am kinda liking her chances. What do you think, guys ?

        Tied up set all.
Congrats on your win. I would never laugh my ass off @ the first set wagering... I've done very well off my first set wagers 18-11 62.22% in my current thread (all plays posted & recorded) It also pays out minimum twice as past as your full match wagering. To add the fact I don't have to sweat out a 3 setter and barely win my huge plays... I either win quick or lose quick. Makes for a quick turn around petkovic was 4-0 vs Bouchard in sets won making "Petkovic" a value play @1.91 for the 1st set winner.

If neither of her parents are German, then how can she be German? Maybe it is a bit unnecesarry debate for this topic, but I disagree with you guys on this.

Uh, she is about as German as Bama is American, probably more since our presidento actually grew up abroad. Her parents moved to Germany when she was 6-mo. old. As to her bloodline, that question is not very relevant in today's world.

I watched both semis and the player that impressed me the most was Cepelova, incredible defending abilities. What worries me is how much energy she spent but she is very young and I'm willing to back her in this final. Please keep in mind that I am not an expert like some of you, just going with my gut. So yes, I absolutly agree with your comments, specially how the 2nd semi was more fun to watch and hope Cepelova wins today. Good luck with whatever you guys play.

The issue here...watch previous days matches and cape off that usually does not work.

The next day these women could look like crap

Women do not have the daily consistency of men

Put a little on Cepelova to win a set. She did have a SP in the first set and then it all went downhill. She looked pretty exhausted in the 2nd set.
