Does a big hitter(flat ball with a lot pace) tend to struggle vs a players who uses a variety of slicing shots?

I'd say yes vs a top spin guy. The flat big hitter needs to have exceptional foot work to play that way in the first place. They can probably adjust to the slicing shots although if a slice shot is followed up with a power shot(returner a bit out of position) I think that would be very effective.

It depends on the player and the surface. You name me the players involved and I'll give you my opinion on whether it can be troublesome.
Also, slices tend to be more effective on clay courts than hard. On hardcourts, it is used more as a defensive shot but on clay it can become an offensive weapon due to the way the ball reacts on the dirt surface.

I only ask because I watched the 3rd set of Licski/Niculescu and the Romanian was like a magician, spinning the ball side ways causing Sabrine to misfire on a bunch of shots.

Women tend to be pretty poor when it comes to footwork compared to the men. I still don't get how you can bet on a chick that can't consistently hold her serve which is like all of them. Its a DAMN travesty that they get paid what the men do.

That's because Lisicki is mediocre on the defensive skills. There's a lot of women flat ball hitters that arent bothered with the slice.
