How do books grade a retire? (i.e. Djokavic/Roddic)
I would like to take a poll: which books graded action on the Djokavic/Roddick match and which books graded it as no action?

I play at 5Dimes and the wager Djokavic (-250) was graded as a Loss.

I hear that some books act differently hear and I would like to hear personal experiences. Thanks.

Bodog settles all retirements as no action.

      This is DSI/Bookmaker policy:

Betting must be fully completed without player's withdrawal, incapacity or disqualification for bets to stand. If a match is rescheduled due to scheduling, weather problems, bad light, etc. then all bets will have action and all wagers will stand. All tennis future bets are placed as *"All In"* unless otherwise stated. If a player withdraws before participating, then all bets on that player are settled as a loss.
So when retirements happen mid-match here, you get your money back. No wins. No losses.

I remember when Pinnacle changed their retirement rules. It happen just days after that Dent match, which btw I cashed.

Usually at least one set must be completed. If you take or give games or bet on the total number of games, then all wagers are canceled if a player retires.

Wow, thanks for the info! I was totally unaware of the variety on this rule. Seems like most books did grade the Djokavic/Roddick match, considering it was past 2 sets.
