Have not seen the kid play, but 34-3 on clay is impressive and 51-4 overall this year

Great comeback by the kid after getting blitzed in the 1st set
anyone willing to step up to the plate and give a scouting report on him

Doesn't matter. Goffin gave the books and those that backed Busta what they deserved. He won't make it pass the next round. Had a parlay with Busta to offset the Goffin choke. Now chasing to get my money back for the silly bet.

Wow, the kid is giving Fognini a match
I need to take a day off and watch Carreno-Busta play a match

Watched him several times in ATP Casablanca and Barcelona. He's a very patient player and digs some unbelievable balls from time to time. He is on my talent watch list.
He needs to work on his second serve though, his tamed second serve lost him vs Thomaz Bellucci a week ago.

I did not see that coming either. I expected Fognini's bad form vs Lorenzi was temporary but eventually decided to stay away from this one.
Well done kid! Let's see what he makes out of next one

I guess he is a bit. Not as good as Simon (when Simon is on actual form) as a returner but his style is similar.
I have nothing but respect for Simon. He has achieved a lot more than many with considerably less talent. He has the fighting spirit.

Clay really for the most part is not overly conducive to overly aggressive play like the quicker surfaces. IMO, clay is the surface that more young players should learn on. Teaches point construction better.

The kid plays amazing. He must like the pressure of losing the first set, cause it seems he has come back in quite a few of his matches. Fognini was his normal self though. Impressive win for Busta though. As I said before this match, I am done fading him.
