+700 seems awfully inviting. Falla with two strong straight set victories here and the bird man seems a bit off balance and vulnerable.
Will take a swing at the huge upset.

Berdych has been playing a ton of tennis lately..one of the main reasons Del Po went down yesterday imo. Im not touching it , but it's worth a shot. GL

I wouldnt do it. Falla has absolutely no weapons that can harm Berdych. Wait for another spot but I wouldnt touch Falla. Dude has no pace on his shots , weak serve, not really that fast for a guy his size......nothing.
If you like Falla, perhaps the game spread but straight up win is gonna be asking too much.

i thought the same thing when Berdych faced Gimeno-traver, and he was very close to falling in 2 sets.
Im not putting money on this, and if Berdych took it in straights I don't think anyone would be surprised, but at 7 to 1 odds an argument could be made that it's worth a small punt.

I think Berdych is definitely primed for an upset in this tourney but Falla is the wrong spot. Even if Berdych has an off day, he'll still beat Falla.
Good luck though

That's quite the bird. Hold up though two more holds and Berdych looks angry

I hedged the hell out of it, leaving me with 3$ profit if Berd. wins OR $68 if Falla wins...
meh =/ not a lot of money but still no risk involved so ... lets go FALLA!

Even with the lost, that was a good call Hangover. Falla just couldnt close it out for ya. That's the thing about players that are ranked 50+ .....they have no mental game and because tennis has no timer, solid players are never out of the match regardless of the score.

Watched the entire match. I'd be on tilt for the rest of the year if I bet Falla. Tough break.

That made me laugh. I guess I have touched the stove so many times lately and been burned that it really doesn't bother me. I make money on basketball, where i have a feel for the book's purpose in establishing and moving lines, and lose on tennis, where I apply those same principles and achieve no correlation. My local book mocks me about it actually- he's constantly trying to expand his tennis offerings! But I find the mental part of tennis really fascinating- I absolutely love to bet the sport. I have had a lot of luck identifying dogs who are going to outperform their odds and make a real match of it- but as Eagles says a loss is a loss and there's no value associated with it. And the point here is what I've seen lately with Muguruza, and Sisjling, and the list goes on and on, some people simply can't win a critical point because mentally they can't handle what's on the other side of that door.

Great call on that, Hangover. Falla should have pulled that off but, couldn't close it out. Take Querrey today and get some revenge! haha
