#13908He's not injured. He just lacked match practice over the past few months and clearly isn't a player who finds his groove quickly.
As for sucking now - he's Canadian, tall and lanky.
In other words he barely played on clay growing up and even though he has pretty strong legs and moves pretty well on other surfaces, he clearly struggles with movement on clay.
Bautista-Agut is Spanish. That says it all.Comment -

#13913Goffin has a very decent record on clay relative to other surfaces.
Was tempted to take him for 1st set winner instead given he came through qualifying and has matches under his belt. Kind of regret it now.
Reason being I can see Tommy grinding out the match win even if he loses the first. Gofin however, he likely needs the first set. Hence I should ahve just taken those odds.

#13917Well Stakhovsky also beat Federer but he isn't good on clay either. I saw some stuff from the match today and Pospisil was moving like Ivan Lendl after 2 beers (he did tons of unforced errors but that wasn't the main problem).
This reminds me of Nieminen - Young in Acapulco. Then, I took Jarkko at something like 1.5, he said in his blog "I'm here in Mexico in a good form blah blah". Then he loses in straights and writes that he barely moved and had problems with the humidity. I wonder if Pospisil was so horrible in his last match... I should have seen it instead of backing him to cover the spread without much research.
OK, end of moaning.Comment -

#13921srs wasting my time responding to this retard. read my post again, i said there are minimal fixes on big TV matches and fixes r more likely on small matches with little coverage, not there r no fixes on every darn event shown on tv.

#13923How do you know that both players are not involved. Sometimes you need both sides to cooperate. Look at the NBA when sides mysteriously cover or total of game goes over with last shot. Wide open 3, and most of the top NBA players can make that if not contested.
Its on the Tennis Channel right and the British commentators are mentioning the wild swings. They said " Sousa won first set which he should not won and Fognini won second set which he should not won". This is all code word for " Fix is in". They will lose their jobs if they outright suggested that was the case.
Its pretty clear, Fognini is a better player so can pretty much decides if he covers or not, if games go Over Games total or not. Crazy to see how many people are naive here to think games are not fixed. Tennis is perfect for all the spot betting, and only 1 or 2 individuals needed.
If you haven't, please don't run your mouth.

That match had HUGE amounts of money traded on Betfair. I think it was about 6 million near the end there. WAY more than usual.
Therefore the only "tell" is by following the odds live. How they "drifted" relative to the score in the match. This gives away whether it's a fix. You then look for huge amounts of liquidity on the Lay Market on the Mr. Fixer of the match.
This confirms the fix.
---
Bettin Live on Betfai is a very interesting experience. With a lot of potential for huge amount of success.
I wish to take it very seriously soon. Live, with a few PC monitors (30" Dell's), and a full pro set up in all the ways that matter. Mental PROWESS being the no. 1 focus. But all the serious "systems" in place. You probably know what I mean. Think it now. Now times it by 5 lots of awesomeness.
For instance the Fognini/Sousa match. Let's talk about that briefly.
Fognini was 5-3 up in the first set. Having started as a 1.16 favourite, he traded as low as 1.04. Like I touched on above, for extremely large amount of CASH. Hundreds of thousands were @ 1.04. Similar amounts at 1.05, 1.06, etc.
Then all of a sudden Mugnini shows up and wins 3 of the next 19 points.
Miraculously, Sousa then trades at 1.04 for the match when serving for it and 30-0 up in the second set.
So both traded at 1.04. And then, yep, you guessed it.. It gets better. Fognini then goes on to win.
SO in summary. What this means is that if you laid say 1.10 (we'll be generous for a "strict" low odds layer) on both players and then distributed equal green amounts.. you would be KILLING it.
This kind of shit happens regularly on the ATP and of course, the (LOL) WTA.
Hope this helps gives people some understanding of it.Comment -

Oh well.
Volumes don't tell shit a lot of the time.
That Fognini V Sousa match had massive amount of liquidity! And I mean MASSIVE.
Where as I know due to a lot of experience that the match 100% was not a fix. I know my shit!
Often there is sweet fcuk all correlation!
----
You made out looking at Volumes means so much in your reply to whoeveritwas.
I'm telling you it doesn't mean shit!
That's what's "incorrect".

#13929Hardcoar, your number 1 is issue, you are trying too hard to speak with authority. You act as if you have it all figured out. You are right , I did not look at volumes or whatever BS you look at.
The action in front of me is enough, to make my deductions. The same shit happened with next match. Looked like Andular was drowning, off course came back to win- miraculously. How much of that is influenced by point betting etc. You act as if the only market available is opening lines. Since you seem to know it all, can you tell of the total amounts bet on that match- how much was In game- Just curios
Does that not sound suspicious that this guy who was following odds say that Up 5 to 3 serving for game. odds to win were only 1.04 or something like that. Guess what. I have no proof but I am sure some wise guys at the books know Whats up and who is going to win. Clueless sheep trying to get "free" money in game get slaughtered because they think these games are just competition. No its a business and someone somewhere is out to get someone's lunch. I am a novice but you dont need to be an awesome handicapper to have a clueComment -
