Hampton has looked great through qualies and IMO should give Makarova a decent fight here. Her return game has looked pretty solid and she has the ability to jump all over second serves - one of the weakest parts of Makarova's game. Movement is probably the achilles heel in Hampton's game at this stage of her career, but Makarova doesn't pepper the sidelines like some other players do. She [Makarova] plays a pretty safe, controlled, cerebral game. I like Hampton to keep it close and potentially score an upset at the VERY tasty price of +215.
