    Smarkets
I know a few of the UK guys have used them, wondered what the latest feedback was like?

    -Last 6 months developed well?
    -API any good?
-Still thin on some markets I see, and even on more popular markets there is only 2-3k per side.

My thinking is they could be useful as part of a BF T3 PC avoidance strat? If I MM for like 10k will it shift or do I generally have to take?

    Thanks.

For small/medium bettors, smarkets is the best option (better than betfair for great leagues).

Main drawback is the lack of liquidity and the gappy markets. The latter is if anything getting worse.

        That's a big problem wouldn't you say.

They have made improvements to the website and do listen to feedback. The chatbox has enable me to talk to CS people straightaway on a coupel of other occasions. But you need to use them as well as betfair rather than instead of (because of the lack of liquidity on lesser markets). The 2% commission is a the thing that keeps me there.

I will look at their API and see if I can do some MM'ing there.

Problem is, even on liquid markets, the true cost isn't 2% at all, by the time you add on the cost of getting money there its the same as betfair basic. The main reason I want to use them is to avoid 60% PC. Would be looking at quite big volume to get my bf P&L down on a few accounts.

I see no liquidity problem when you bet on big markets.
If you play lower leagues, or not popular markets, then indeed there is a problem.
I still insist that there is some value here.
