I just found out that BODOG has been seized by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Homeland Security

I have been out of the game for over a year and I currently do not have any money in any books, so this was news to me.

Does anybody have more info? Are these guys about to clean house and shut down a ton of sites or is this an isolated incident?

I see that the BODOG banner ad is still at the top of the page.

Sorry if I am late to the game and everybody has discussed this and moved on. Just looking for a bit more info. Thanks

Nothing happened, they just seized an old domain name from them that they dont use anymore just the .com part. try bodog.eu or bovada.lv, its just an embarrassment that they are even wasting there time with this. But i dont even think it turned the power off in any of the buildings for even 1 second so that should tell u what happened.

Bodog is finished, Bovada isn't far behind. You should burn in hell for complete bullshit like this. Nothing happened? You must be a goddamn idiot. Where is Calvin Ayre then?

There was an SBR wire and video on the domain name confiscation.

In short, Bodog expected to lose the ".com" eventually. Note that Bodog itself no longer serves the US market, so they haven't skipped a beat since.

OK from the person who is calling me a goddamn idiot, then u tell me what happened? Calvin is still running around, Bodog and Bovada still running, no money taken. If u cant take the time to do some research why bother to open your big mouth, this information is no secret and can be found if u want to know what happened. If u call losing there old .com name something special go right ahead and do so. Some people have some nerve.

This is the worst case scenario when using a book like Bodog, they will pay everyone and just leave the U.S. market. And dont quote me on this happening because it doesn't look like they are even thinking about it 1 bit.
