    Large Bank Wires

Hello all. I have a question about large bank wires and sports betting legality. Does anyone on here(who lives in the US) regularly wire 10k or more into their bank accounts from an online sportsbook? If you're worried about outing yourself as a big winner then please send me a private message.

Along with being worried about the bank wires, I'm concerned about the legality of online sports betting as a US citizen. Is it illegal? Some people say it's not certain and the law can be circumvented and/or interpreted to make it legal but some people think it is explicitly illegal. Thoughts? I pay taxes ftr.

Don't worry about it since you will never wire 1k, now why don't you threaten to kill my mother again on here.

The promise stands. As for bank wires, I will be needing this info soon since my bankroll is increasing and I've been winning at 57% against the spread for about 8 months now. I've wired 3k out before but by this time next year 10k should be standard. Any wisdom is appreciated.

A Boston fan, AND threatening to kill family members?

I don't blame him for not telling you how to move 50 cents from one piggy bank to a cigar box.

Not sure, but I don't play that shit. Anyone who makes a threat like that against me, the world just got too small. I can't guarantee I'll come out on top, but one of us has overstayed our welcome on Mother Earth.

There is no federal law against an individual betting on sports. There *is* law against a sportsbook taking a bet from a player in the U.S.

There is no law against an invidividual attempting to move money to/from a sportsbook. There *is* law prohibiting a bank from doing this.

I have no problems doing a wire. The bigger issue is whether you pay taxes. If you pay income tax on your gambling gains, your life will be easier.

What about individual state laws outlawing it then as opposed to the federal statutes? Isn't that the reason why only Nevada and Delaware? allow brick and mortar sportsbooks such as at the casino. I've asked around before in casinos outside of Nevada and employees usually tell me either that it is a state law issue that bans it or that they don't know why it is banned. Who knows if they knew what they were talking about? Does anyone know 100% for sure why say for example, california or florida casinos aren't allowed to have sportsbooks on their properties?

An unconstitutional federal law, "Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act."

Was Pinnacle bullied out of the American market by the feds or did they just leave on their own? I got in the game too late to even know about how good pinnacle is apparently since I'm in the U.S. and wouldn't be able to sign up currently. It's pretty laughable i was on their site looking at the sign up page and in the "country" scroll down, people who live in Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Antarctica for example can play with them but not residents of the U.S. That is one of the most absurd things i have ever seen in my life not just in betting or sports or the internet but in anything.

Believe me, if Pinnacle had it their way, they would still be taking US money. They didn't want to get "Bodoged," so they bowed out gracefully.

All books were bullied out of the US market some chose to find loopholes in the law and take their chances others felt that it was better long term interest for them to back out.
