Is bet365 a safe and reliable sportsbook?

I signed up for this book. How has this book treated you?

I have some questions as I am new to online gambling. They are asking me to verify myself with id before I can withdraw money. I don't have anything to withdraw yet, not off to a good start as I have lost $40 so far.

They are asking me for my license, passport or birth certificate. Is this normal? What I.D did you guys provide. I don't have license or passport, so birth certificate looks like the only option.

Would you guys provide this? Not sure how I feel about giving sensitive info like that.

Also are there better books to use for Canadians?

It is normal that they would ask for that kind of information yes. You can probably send them a scan/picture of your card as well. Actually, if you used a card to deposit with, you will have to send that as well. You can cover up the middle few numbers and the CVC number though so not really an issue.

Bet365 treated me as nice as one could expect. I had a nice run but eventually it came to an end. I still play there from time to time on stuff that I can get mony on, and they always pay me same day. Odds are good and sports coverage is second to none.

Better books for canadians? Very subjective. Give bet365 a chance and enjoy the account while it lasts Very good account to have.

It is a hassle sending all of the documants but they are a great choice for a recreational gambler. They offer odds on just about everything and your money is safe. If you win they will limit bet sizes very quickly!!

Good to hear. I paid my deposit via **********. So not with credit card, through my checking account.

What do you mean enjoy your account while it lasts? Will they close my account after a claim some winnings?

No. They will probably never close your account unless you do something shady.

I am just assuming that since you post here you are gonna be line shopping and at least have some idea what value is - in other words, you will not waste your time betting when they have lower odds than any of your other options.

I had withdrawals for well over £15.000 before they got around to cut my limits. My net winnings were obviously not that much but yeah... you can stay alive for a while but they will eventually find you. I consider myself to be pretty lucky for staying alive so long.

Great book, they often email me about deposit bonus. I made the rollover several times and cashed out.

What limits would they give you? Give me an example of what weekly or monthly limits they put on you?

It's not really a concern now as I am down $45 to start, but curious if the limits will even matter for me. I'm not really a serious gambler, at least not yet.

you will be fine... but if you're a winning player at a couple of hundreds per bet the limit for upcoming bets will drop down to a few bucks...

Is there any info I will need to give bet365 other than my birth certificate? That's all they have asked me so far. What will they ask me for when they call me?

they're a solid UK book, good for horses and english football, hit their weak lines though and they'll limit you with indecent haste.

I have heard from someone who got a limit although he lost a lot more than he won. I got limited after winning a few hundred Euro. I think it is more the way you bet than the amount you win. If they limit you, you get a personal limit that is a small part of the normal limit like 1/10 or 1/100.

they aren't known as Bet$3.65 without good reason
I checked on a few horse bets there a couple of weeks ago and my limits on them were like $2.61, $3.19 etc.
In short just a waste of time
