Anyone into player prop betting?

This obviously is a pain in the ass, as I have to deal with w/d money, depositing on a new site, and finding new sites that offer prop betting. Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid getting banned?

Obviously, I try and keep my bet amounts lower, I've tried using IP blockers, and I've tried throwing in some game bets just to make it appear that I'm not exclusively betting on props. Ideas?

What books do you use? All I've found so far is 5Dimes.

Also, do some bigger books have player props for sports like football and the NBA? I've not looked too long, so I don't know about any sports besides MLB.

I am not understanding why you are getting banned for winning a few bets on props. No disrespect but what is their explanation or rules on why your gettin the boot?

It's not really for winning a few bets here and there. For the last 3 years, I've been hitting at or near 60% on player props for NBA, NFL, NCAAB, and NCAAF. Generally, I won't get banned until I've made several thousand dollars on a site, but I've found that there are certain things that will get me kicked off quicker. For instance, if I raise my bet amount beyond $100, I tend to get banner quicker. I believe the reason that I am getting kicked off is that prop bets don't get the same kind of action that game bets do. As a result, when I win 60% of the time, the sportsbook may actually be taking a net loss on these bets, if they can't get enough action on these bets to counterbalance the side that I wager on.

The reason for betting on player props is that I can hit at such a higher rate than on game bets, so the strategy is to try and find as many sites as possible that allow prop betting. I've used a bunch of sites over the last few years, although a lot of them seem to be shutting down. Other sites such as bodog, sportsbook, BetOnline, bookmaker, and diamond all offer prop betting.

I was trying to find out if anyone else does this type of wagering. Another thing I am trying to do is to disguise my IP address so that I can open accounts in other names with the same sportsbook. This doesn't seem to work, as I have had times where I've been banned before even placing a single bet. Obviously, the sites have some other way of knowing that my bets are coming from the same computer (other than by IP address). Any ideas?

Oh, and an explanation is never given when I'm kicked off a site. Usually, my limit will be lowered to something like $1 or $10, which essentially prevents me from continuing on with the site.

Most books will limit winning prop players. Their goal isn't to give away the country store to someone who knows how to spot a soft situational player prop on a game. Those bets are for recreational players.

Multi accounting is a great way to get you blacklisted from sportsbettting online!!! blocking your IP and opening accounts under different names is a stupid thing to do books are far more advanced in this technology than you are.

To be honest, there is nothing you can do. Eventually you will be banned or limited at virtually all the books, and I say that as a result of vast experience as I've been doing the same as you for a decade. The only 2 books over that time that have not taken measures against me are Pinnacle and the Greek, but if you are an American that is obviously not going to help you. BetCris also lowered my limits, but it took quite a while and the max wager cut wasn't as severe as most of the other sites. Regardless, good luck.....

Yeah, you are inevitably going to get kicked out or limited for beating props. The best you can do is expend your stay as long as possible. mixing in some straight bets is a good way. I've found that usually accounts are reviewed and limited/backed-off on Mondays. . So I try to put in some straight bets on Sunday night especially if I have won a lot that week. I've also noticed that newer accounts seem to get more scrutiny early. So you could try "establishing" your account, betting straight bets only for a few weeks and hoping they write you off as a square, before blasting them with props. Keeping your weekly win under certain thresholds for the week may help too, Books can get reports for accounts "up 5k or more for the week", or similar, so maybe hold off if you are up $4500 by Thursday to keep your account off that list. You could also try betting small for a while, building your balance slowly until you feel you are in danger of getting thrown out, then go max bets at them to get as much as you can before they do.
