    Bookmaker is down ...
... 15 minutes before kickoff of the NFL Bear / Pack game, went to make a VC deposit by pressing their option "3" for credit cards. Got a message saying they'll be right with me, and I held for about 10 minutes, when then the message recording stopped. The phone then started ringing as if I was being transferred to a rep. The phone continued to ring endlessly, when I decided to hangup. I called back and went with option '1' to see if I could be served. I was then told that their processor is down, and that they cannot process my deposit.

My first response was, if your processor is down, why doesn't your message say so, as oppose to saying you'll be right with me, and leaving my on an endless hold to nowhere? The rep transferred me to a supervisor for the answer. The supervisor came on the line, and simply stated his name. I wondered did the last rep not inform the supe why the call was being transfered. The supe (Joe) said to me, that I asked to speak to a supe. I told the supe that I never asked to speak to a supe, and that is was the rep who asked me to a hold for a supe who would answer the question.

Anyway, the supe said that right before a big event like the NFL playoffs, getting through is tough, and that I should've planned ahead by calling at least an hour or 2 before gametime. [Of course they say that when you call to complain, and do not openly disclose that anywere to be seen.] I responded that THEY should've planned ahead, since they know they'll be a swarm of requests, and that if they can't handle the workload to me is that the company is being mismanaged. I further added, that if there is swarm, and the processor is down, to install a message that says so verse misleading and lying to customers with a message that says, "we'll be right with you."

If when I called at 2:45 PM ET I got message that their system was down, I could've easily gone elsewhere. Next, the supe said he could take my deposit now, as the game has started so the processor is now available again. I made myself perfectly clear to the supe, that if I call back and press option "3" and can get my deposit processed for half-time, we'll be in business. If not, then I'll call back to close my account for 2 reasons: 1-Their processing system is unreliable, and 2-for you just blantanly lying to me again. The supe went on to say that I'll experience the same thing with all the other Books. I responded with asking how exactly can you speak for 'ALL' the other Books? Hate it when they do that.

So I pinpointed the supe very clearly that I will call back, press option '3' and see if I can be served, and asked point blank, "you are sure I will get through, right?" Supe responded for sure. Well sure enough, I called back, pressed option 3, it was like 3:25 PM ET now, and though I did get through to a rep this time, I was informed that the processor is still down.

So I called back and spoke to the supe again, and gave the supe an opportunity to save my account. I asked if he'd now like to offer me a free play for my troubles, and for telling me something point blank that turned out to be false. Supe replied, "no." He further replied that if the processor is down, there is nothing he can do. My reply then was that there is something I can do, which is to close my account.

Ironically, if Joe offered me even a lousy $5 free play with 20X rollover for all I cared, my account would still be open, I'd have continued to call to make my deposits, would not be writing negatively about them, and to the contrary would go on continuing to promote them. Just goes to show you when they say you're a valued customer, it's all talk and no walk.

Why would I want to entrust my action to a sportsbook, that for making a deposit is that untrelaible for a big game, and is that deceptive and misleading when they're down? Any system can be down at anytime. Just when it's down, they need to take responsibility and openly inform you of such, as opposed to leaving you on an endless hold to disconnectville. And the nerve of the supe who fielded this call for this reason, to then tell me all is back up and running fine, when in fact it was still down. Shame on Bookmaker and supe Joe for displaying such a disgrace.

    Good writtens Bookmaker!

PS. Please post if you experienced similar failures on Bookmaker's part, in an effort to help others avoid having to find out the hard way how unreliable their deposit processor is, and how dishonest their supervisors are.

You were on an endless hold while a message kept saying, "we'll be right with you," right?

Yeah, this book has been great to me, but not today. They told me the processor would be up in 4-6 hours. Games are going to be done by then. Went with Bodog.
