    Bravado - confiscated all funds - no explanation!

    Hi, I have opened a Bovada account on 9/13 and deposited $3k to make some bets. After winning around $5k i tried to withdraw some funds and got an email to verify my documents - so I did that and sent them my drivers license, a selfie with it and my water bill.They told me it is going to be 24-48 hours to get this verified (I guess an automatic email), so I waited and waited and waited after first 48 hours I still have not received my funds. I emailed them again and got an automatic response again... they also mentioned that they are dealing with COVID and high volumes blah blah blah. Still no money and no human response.

    I have reached out to one of their multiple email addresses for support (the have different email address for everything, it’s so annoying) and they send me this -

    Hello, While conducting an investigation, it was found that your account was involved in a breach of our Terms of Service and Player Agreement. Due to this breach, the decision was made to terminate our business relationship with you and discontinue all services and products offered. As a result, any available balance has been voided.

    We ask that you refrain from opening any other accounts. Discovery of any accounts opened by yourself will result in immediate termination of your account and any associated balance seized. This decision was made with careful consideration of all the facts and we judge this decision to be final.

    I asked for a reason - they don’t respond and tell me to contact their support. They are bouncing me around and not giving a straight answer or a reason. This is totally unacceptable for a company like this with high ratings and trust built over the years. My winnings and my deposit are in limbo and nobody from Bovada is communicating with me how to get this resolved - it’s unbelievable!

    It's very poor communication by them. I think SBR can help you if you open a claim here

    Was this Bovada, A+ rated sportsbook ? that confiscated all your funds or Bravado ?

    I’ve been waiting almost 5 days for verification despite sending the requested documents. I made a deposit and have since tripled my initial deposit. It was probably a dumb idea for me to start betting without getting verified first but they make it so easy to deposit your money with that expectation that withdrawing will be as simple as the deposit. I emailed BOVADA regarding the delay and all I’ve gotten were canned auto replies. I only moved to BOVADA because 5 Dimes folded.

    If you send in a Sportsbook Complaint form with your details we can ask management there about this for you.

    I think this paragraph is the key. They suspect you have opened more than one account (to circumvent reduced limits?)

    Still no reply. I have sent them another email and got nothing back from them. It’s literally crazy that no one would talk to me and explain what’s going on... I have all the docs and all the right stuff - it’s unfair

    I found this thread because I'm in a similar situation. My account was disabled shortly after putting in my first cash out. Is this normal for them? I sent in all verification docs and nothing has happened. Any updates to your situation. What's an appropriate time frame to start a case?

    Tarnski what verification docs did they ask for? I have only had to send in a picture of my license to any site for withdrawals. Also they disabled your account?! Did they give an explanation for that? You said you sent in everything and nothing happened does that mean you are still disabled?

    I sent in a bill, selfie and id and still do not have access to my account after receiving an email from them thanking me for sending in my documentation. It's been a couple days. I don't know how long this should take. Very unprofessional from an "A+" book. This is crazy...

    If they are telling you to wait, then you should try to wait it out.

    How long are you talking about? Most take 24-48 hours. A few days would be normal. A week or so is not unheard of.

    Within 12 hours of the cash out they asked for an ID and selfie which I immediately sent in. A few hours later they asked for an ID, selfie, and a bill for proof of residence. I sent in all 3. Now, over 48 hours later, they just asked for an ID which has been sent in twice already. This is getting ridiculous. Account is still disabled without a single explanation.

    I have had exactly the same experience... sent documents multiple times and - nothing. Still no explanation and still no payout, no access, no comments.

    I can’t believe this is happening. This was rated A+

    I think they are just ignoring me and waiting for me to give up. This is ridiculous. I am shocked that nobody talks back to me and explains anything. I am sending them a letter now to ALL of their departments and praying that some one there will respond... I can only hope.

    They will complete their investigation and will tell you a result.

    I have no reason to be investigated period. If this is normal for them to "investigate" any type of winning account I have no idea how they are an A+ rated book. I wish I knew about these practices before I signed up. They lack of communication from them is just awful. Especially, after asking for so much personal information.

    I just received an email back from Bovada and they told me that I have breached their agreement (paragraph 3.6, please see attached) - long story short they are saying that there is something wrong with my documents. This is completely ridiculous since I have provided them with everything they asked for and my documents are 100% fine. I had the same Driving license work everywhere else online and in person for any purpose. I also provided them with my water Bill which is totally fine too. Everything is up to date and I have also taken a good selfie with my driving license. This pisses me off since I am a 100% real person with all the real documents and they tell me there is something wrong and they confiscate my funds. Crazy... I am seeking for any help possible. Appreciate any advise.

    penetrate those assholes - Calvin Ayre and anyone associated with his remnants (Bovada) is a skeevy little asshole. They should AT MINIMUM keep you updated. Reason they are A+? Probably bought the rating through advertising $ going to SBR.

    100%. i don't see how they are A+ just based on the bets they offer. their variety is lacking.

    I have made sure I did submit a complaint. Still no resolution from Bovada. I have emailed them more than 4 times asking for any sort of update. Talked to my lawyer about what else is possible to do...

    Please double check your complaint lists - there should be 1 from me. Any help is much appreciated.

    Also, is it normal for a book to require a credit card form? I understand requiring a utility bill to prove address but I use BTC so why is BOVADA asking for copies of a credit card to verify your account?

    Did you ask them that?

    I've been in the same situation with a different book and when I pointed this out to the book they responded nevermind they sent the request in error.
