    Betonline Issues

    I’m currently unable to login at Betonline. I’ve called their support several times and each time they have told me I need to do a password reset. After explaining I’ve already tried that, and going through the steps again they tell me it’s escalated to the Upper Management Team and I will receive an email in 24 hours. This has been going on for some time and I never get an email and continue to restart at square one.

    I’ve never been told anything else and at this point I’m not sure what else I can do. Any suggestions?

    Their site has been like that for 3 months,every single time i log in i have to create a new password,ever single time,they are PATHETIC!

    To be clear, I can't login at all. Even after I go through the Password reset and even after calling their support team multiple times I am still unable to access my account. At this point I have no way to know if my funds are secure or even still in my account. I have not been told anything is wrong with the account, but the fact that I can't access it and support is unable to help gain access is frustrating.

    In most cases they have problem with login based on geo location of IP.
    Probably they have some security checks geo location of request IP with location from user profile data.

    Ask for a withdrawal and maybe go back when you can access your account.

    Can you try logging in from a different location? On a different internet connection?

    Are you using a computer or phone/tablet? Try the opposite device if you can.

    Tried both Mobile and multiple PC's. Both my mobile data and 2 different wifi connections.

    At this point I feel like it's something on their end because I've been able to login for 7-8 years with no issues and now suddenly can't login on multiple devices on multiple networks. Doesn't seem right to be honest.

    Edit: It also started to occur around the same time I received an email from them advising me to reset my password. Another sign pointing to the issue being something on their end. When I've called they also advised there was a note, or something, on my account stating a PW reset was required before I could login. Ever since then I have not been able to login.

    once you deposit this problem will be fixed is what I found. When I had a zero balance i had all these issues.

    I have a balance with them currently. Unfortunately, I don't think I can withdraw because I had a bonus rollover so now I have funds just sitting on their that I can't use, can't withdraw, can't do anything with at all.

    Is there really nothing I can do here? They have still not responded back again after another attempt at contacting them. My funds are tied up and they don't seem to want to even try to help. Extremely disapointed that I can't seem to do anything about this and really my only option seems to be to chalk it up as a loss currently.

    Edit: to make matters worse they can't respond to Support Emails but to rub salt in an open wound they send me an email telling me I have a balance that I can use to bet the World Cup. Ugghhh...

    UPDATE:

    I was checking my email hoping for an email from Support about my issue and saw a Betonline email. I opened it and it was a promotional email telling me I had a balance of $52 that I could use to bet on the World Cup. This concerned me since I knew I should have around $400 so I gave them another call.

    During the call I was able to find out that I had made a few bets in March that were normal for me (Example: $20-50). Then on April 2nd there was a bet for something like $298, which was actually everything I had in my Sportsbook account. Obviously, this is NOT a bet I made. I explained that and asked what the bet was placed on and honestly I can't pronounce what it was placed on. Not sure what sport because it was obvious that it wasn't a bet I made and I'm sure it wasn't a Sport I bet on. The only reason I have $52 left I guess is because they didn't realize I had $52 in my Poker Account.

    Since I couldn't log in I didn't have any reason to be concerned until I received that promotional email that showed my balance. I'm guessing this is why I couldn't/can't login. Unfortunately, none of their Support reps ever mentioned there was ever a potential issue with my account despite numerous calls for Support to login. They only ever told me that I needed to reset my Password. The rep did say my issue was still escalated from my most recent contact on the 28th. He also escalated this bet that was not made by me. I provided my phone number and told him they could contact me with any questions they had so I could help sort it out.

    At this point I'm not sure what to expect. Despite being a member for ~8 years on BetOnline and Poker/Sportsbooks in general for even longer this is the first time I've ever had an issue with an account, or funds. I'm assuming they will be able to tell that this bet was not made by me, not from one of my devices, not from my IP or even region, and that it does not match any of my betting patterns in terms of teams, sports, or wager amount. Unfortunately, that doesn't really ease my mind. What should I expect moving forward?

    That is odd. There's no good reason for a book (or hacking player) to sabotage an account for a small amount like that.

    That said, I'd dispute that you placed the wager. Ask for the IP where the wager was placed.

    Update:Was able to get my login issue for the Sportsbook fixed a couple days ago. The disputed bet was still being investigated until today when they called me and confirmed the funds have been replaced. I'm sure they could tell it wasn't made from any of my devices, networks, etc... and didn't match any of my betting history.Unfortunately, there still remains a small issue. I'm unable to login to my Poker Account and it tells me my Account is blocked. The rep that called and explained they were replacing the funds wasn't sure why I couldn't login and is looking into it. Overall though it seems they have resolved the major issue so I'm grateful for that and I'm confident they will get the Poker Account straightened out at some point.

    First time I've had any issue anything close to this. Sure I've had minor issues with logging in or whatever but this was my first significant issue in over 8 years (Outside of Poker Stars/Full Tilt's major shutdowns). Hope others don't have to go through it but at least they done the right thing.

    No problem. Figured everyone should know either way. Sure my Poker Account will be fixed soon too but that remains the only issue and they are working on it.
