Not so happy anniversary

I have now been waiting over one year on a withdrawal request from Nov 5 2009.

I have 5 others max requests open as well, and several more I would make if I thought they
would get paid any time soon. At least I did get one check each in September and October
after receiving none since April.

They just cut my limits to $100 so its not even worth the effort to bet my play money there now.

The fact that one person got a greater than $3000 check is somewhat encouraging, though.

WSEX really messed up because they thought they were the king of the mountain on the internet. They closed their affiliate program in the early days when they were top dog. I guess they didn't think they needed advertising on the net.

Anyways, I received an email from them (right when these problems started) about a year ago how they were inviting me into their affiliate program. It was a bit too late for them.

They basically let their customer base dwindled to nothing. It's a shame because I don't think their scammers, I don't think their anything but a good company who f**ked up so bad because they didn't know how to keep up with the times. Nevertheless, this is how a good company can go bad. Bookmaker is next in line (go ahead laugh) because of what they did to their affiliates.

I don't get it??? . . . . . . It appears that you are in favor of "helping" by rewarding WSEX' bad behavior, misleading, and deceptive practices.

A review of the offshore sportsbook industry is replete with defunct books who had many similar characteristics to those currently and in the recent past exhibited by WSEX . . . leaving thousands of naive players with collective losses aggregating in the millions, yes millions, of dollars.

With WSEX (current SBR The Avoid List rating of "D" . . . SBR advises "If you have money in an account with any of them, you should pull your funds out immediately and Run!"). It not a matter of if but rather when with WSEX . . . which will again leave many naive players relying on what will become phantom statement balances.

(BTW, CreditWagering.com (current SBR The Avoid List rating of "D-") is another book that players should not be making deposits to or leaving funds with, as they have exhibited some of the same characteristics as WSEX . . . however, in the instance of CW, their business model was flawed from the beginning. )

Monte, if you want to make a charitable contribution, you should rather consider making it to your favorite charity.

30% bonus - 12xx roll and limiting players tells me they are still hopeing to be in business for awhile. i have deposited(last check i had coming) did the roll and asked for a b2b(which was done) and a check(which i am waiting for,regular mail). if the check comes in 2 months i'll be fine. would not give other books i play at 2 months, but WSEX has made me so much money over the years that i am ok with it. and as long as they can keep doing transfers i am fine with playing there and depositing if i have to. the only problem i still have with them is they have not paid everyone off completely. too many people owed way too much for way too long. but they are trying. any other book would have closed the doors and everyone would have lost all that was owed a couple years ago. but they keep trying to get back to being a successful business. i am pulling for them and this way everyone still owed money, gets paid. i think WSEX will be around for many more years to come. there are many better books out there - i play at 8 right now - but i will also keep playing at WSEX. been playing online for over 8 years - got ripped off a couple times, and i know it could happen again. it's a gamble i am willing to take. same way i feel about WSEX. it's a gamble i am willing to take.

did 1 yesterday. charged $50 from WSEX. matchbook did not let the last 2 i asked for go thru. that was about 4 months and 6 months ago. WSEX was ok with transfers, but matchbook was not. figured matchbook was worried about letting to much transfer between them so was limiting players. but this time it went thru. obviously matchbook has reconsidered thier opinion of WSEX. i don't know what changed MATCHBOOK'S reasoning of why i can transfer now, but i do think it looks better for WSEX. i would not suggest to anyone that they should deposit at WSEX, but i did. and have no regrets, yet. and i also think it is getting better at WSEX. but with so many other better books out there -why would anyone ever deposit there for the 1st time - only people like me who just like playing there and at least think they will get paid, should take a shot. take on the risk. for me, i think it will be worth it.
