    Fortunejack Withdrawal Limbo
    I tried to withdraw my bitcoin from Fortunejack and for the first time they want me to confirm a withdrawal via email. I replied to their request for confirmation but they said the reply must be from the same email address.

    I can’t send outgoing emails from the email address attached to the account. It’s an old email address from school that gets forwarded to my gmail. I cannot change the email address on my fortunejack account. I asked them to send the confirmation to the telephone number associated with my fortunejack account. So far I haven’t heard back.

      Blows me away how dumb the "security" people at books can be.

      It proves exactly ZERO where an email comes from.

      They need to know you can receive mail, not send it

      Here's why;

      Just send them the email they want, from who they want, via this website http://deadfake.com/

      As long as you can still receive email sent to that address, you are sweet for verifications like this.

        Now they want a copy of my Id. I’m not sure what that will do.

          All these crypto books say they won't KYC then they KYC you. I used to bet here when they launched their sportsbook because they would move lines super late and have very low vig on their spreads. Now that more competition has come in they have fallen behind.

            Maybe just because of issues with the email?

              Ehhhhhh for the most part I'd agree, but FortuneJack doesn't make that claim. Their TOS even mentions they can & will ask for KYC documentation when necessary.

                Well sure- no sites say they wont ask for KYC documentation. But many only make sure you aren't using multiple accounts- they dont care for you to disclose any information.

                  Personally apart from KYC i had to pass Skype verification to withdraw my balance. After skype call, all went smooth though.

                    Does it matter where it came from? As long as it's been verified, it belongs to the account holder. Again, when you look to make a payout, an email is usually sent to that original email to verify the payout. If this was done a long time ago, "dumb" security people wouldn't have had so many account theft issues. So, it's less about proving where you're from, that's done by an IP and more to do with a secure line of communication from the original sportsbook and the player. A hacker can hack into a DB, but its not easy to do the same thing with the account holders email. Personally, books should try and have the most secure protocols possible and that should include email verifications with a random security number to uphold the verification process. Right?

                      Fortunejack was willing to work with me to fix the email address issue and the bitcoin is now safely in my personal wallet.

                      Thanks to them for their help
