Hi, How are things over in Canada right now? Can any Canadian members share their situation? It seems like softbooks are kind of in a grey area over there, and also e-wallets are not great. Is the shop scene viable?
Cheers!

Completely playing offshore here in Canada. There is no licensed single event wagering here -- only government controlled, parlay only. There most common wallets are Interac eTransfter, Instadebit, iDebit. Bitcoin also popular to move funds. No shops here. No taxes on winnings, thankfully.

There are a lot of books that accept interac e-transfer for deposits and withdraws now. Easier than anything else.

Do you have access to any mainstream uk books, 365, Paddypower etc?

Any recommendations? What are the lines like at btc books? I'm interested in soft lines and I'd assume btc books are quite sharp?

We do have Bet365 available, yes. I don't think PaddyPower accepts wagers from Canada.

Also, looking toward the future, it's quite possible the government will legalize single event wagering in Canada within the next few years. If that happens, we will likely see many of the same operators currently in US states entering the Canadian market.

Is there anywhere I could find a list of available books (like 365) in Canada?

Yes, there's a list right here on SportsbookReview.
