Large withdrawal from legal US books
Not sure if this is a general question or specific to Fanduel and Draftkings, but I have had some recent run good on these accounts. Would a large withdrawal (say $20-30k) trigger any kind of account review? I’ve done smaller ($5-9k) before, but don’t want to do more if it could trigger a review.

If I do smaller (say $8-9k) weekly withdrawals, is this any better? I will pay taxes so I am not concerned about that. I just don’t want limits and delays on these accounts as they have been better than gold recently.

    Cheers

Click the withdrawl button for the max, US books are legally not able to restrict your withdrawals or limits per gaming regulatory commission

You are mistaken. They can cut limits.

Congrats on your winning streak! Both DK and FD will cut you off if they don't like your action so keep payouts small if you can. Once waited 11 days for a 20K payout from Caesars. This was before the Will Hill takeover. The cs rep told me anything over 5000 required manager approval and that was their excuse for the delay. They did cut my limits after that but kept it reasonable. Later Will Hill took over and my account got axed.

I doubt it will make much difference as far as their account review procedures.

One 30k withdraw might make them look more closely at the account than small withdraws, possibly. But three 9k withdraws might also look sus enough to make someone look harder too.

I don't really think either one will have a big impact on how you are treated though.

I think the withdrawals are irrelevant.

Like someone else said, if they don't like your action they will cut limits or delay you.

In that vein, if you do live betting on Fanduel, what do you have for the countdown delay?

Stopped using using them for live bets after they slapped with with a 25 sec delay. I hear some people have 30 seconds. The player should have the option to cancel his bet during the delay. During the delay they can move the line against you so your bet will be rejected. It needs to be a level playing field if they are going to pull that crap.

Damn. I guess I should be happy that I'm only 18 seconds. Was 6 seconds until recently. It's insane. My game feed is already behind. I see the line move from the next play at the book before I see it on TV. So they already have a time advantage. Was doable at 6 seconds. But at 18 seconds usually it's still spinning before the next play happens. Pretty much makes live impossible. I tried to complain in live chat and they play dumb and say we'll look into and get back to you. Yeah right.

Pointsbet delay is even more laughable.

The only one that doesn't seem to have changed anything is Draftkings, so far. They do have a processing delay, but it's reasonable.

Is this recent, or same for awhile? How long did it take for them to do that to you?

Just happened to me after about 2.5 months. They had previously reduced certain limits.

100% agree. I've made the same suggestion to books who drop long delays on live bets and never get a direct answer.

Don't the sportsbooks have a truly live feed? If so, why the hell do they need to put a further delay on the player? There really should be an acceptable standard. Like 5 or 6 seconds is OK, but anything more is a deceptive and unfair practice, especially if the player can't cancel. The book gets to see the next play and can have its cake and eat it too.
