Hello all-
I'm looking for some advice or assistance regarding this issue.
Last week my betonline.ag account has fraudulently used. I only use my cell phone and laptop to do sports betting and never use public wifi. While at home and on my cell phone, I saw my account go from $8200 to $0 in a matter of minutes. I immediately contacted the site and a case was opened and the rep stated I would be contacted in 24-48 hrs. I was not contacted until after 7 days and during that time I also contacted the site and each time the rep escalated the case without any resolution. Finally today I was contacted and informed that my $8200 was used for several hands of blackjack bets which eventually drained my acct. Betonline acknowledged that through reviewing my history that I only do sports book bets up until that day. However, they stated the ICPs showed that the betting was done via my phone and that from their end their hands were tied because it doesn't show the account was hacked/compromised. They suggested perhaps a family member or someone else used my account to make the casino bets. I stated only I know the password and both my laptop and my cell phone were in my possession when the fraudulent activity occurred. All the rep could offer was a $200 bonus.
I don't know what else to do. It may be a lost cause. I did submit a SBR compliant.
EDIT:I received an email from a BOL player service rep regarding my case."Apologies for the inconveniences caused. This email is to kindly inform you that, there are no discrepancies found. You always uses the same two devices lately unless one of them was hacked I consider this claim is not valid. Even though you were "hacked" you deposited again 3 days later with the same device that accessed on the date of the incident. You use a MAC and iPhone. No other devices or another country, logins are always in California. Thank you for working with us in this matter.
I responded back with the following message:"I'd like to provide you more detail of the situation.
The day my account was "hacked" I was on my iPhone and I logged onto my BOL acct to check on a few sports wagers I made that same day. When I logged on, I noticed my account balance was lower so I logged off and logged back in. Again my balance was even lower. In disbelief, I logged off and on and literally saw my acct balance get drained to zero. If BOL can see logins and logouts, then BOL should be able see that I was logging in and out of my account through my iPhone while the fraudulent activity was occurring in the casino. Can BOL provide the support showing the casino activity was done through my devices and shows the records of my logins and logouts?
As soon as my balance was zero I contacted BOL player's services and a case was opened and the rep said I should be contacted in 24-48 hrs. It took 7 days for anyone at BOL to contact me. And during this time I called BOL services several times to get an update and was told the case was escalated, but it still took 7 days.
Now as far as me re-depositing into my "hacked" account, it was taking so long for this incident to be addressed I had asked the BOL rep during one of my calls if it was ok to make bets or not while this issue was unresolved. Her response was since my account was still active and that I had changed my password it was ok and I could go ahead and make bets. Was this not the case? Also I had asked that all other betting except for sports betting be disabled such as casino which she did. Therefore because the BOL rep stated it was ok for me to bet, my acct password was changed, and all other betting was disabled I did make a deposit 3 days later as I wait for this case to be resolved.
I request BOL to investigate this incident further as it's not as black and white and also provide the documentation showing these casino transactions and my logins and logouts on my devices during the time of the fraudulent casino activity. I hope that BOL would take the courtesy to investigate further to ensure the security of their customer accounts and site."
We'll see where it goes from here, but still hoping for a good outcome.
