Hello people. I have an account with this outfit for about 8 years now but have never managed to withdraw any funds from the account.
Account balance now stands at a 4 figure sum of GBP.

A withdrawal request will be accepted but never pays goes into bank account. It will remain as pending for 3-4 months. Phone calls are answered and they acknowledge that the withdraw request has been made but never gets transferred out.?, Emails go unanswered but they are aware of receving them as refer to them when i call.

After 5 months i cancel the withdraw request and the funds are added back to my available account balance to bet with.
How does someone get money out of this outfit?
Has anyone in SSP existence managed to get there funds out.
I have tried various withdraw amounts in the hope they might give out little £100 chunks upto £1000 but to no avail.

I can still place bets with them and i still do once a week or so in a long term plan of arbing the money out drip by drip over another period of 10years or more. Trying to place the losing bet on the SSP account, can so therefore backing 20/1 33/1 odds ranges.

But it is frustating have to resort to this in this day and age. of legal regulation and licences.

ssp is one of the longest running scambooks i know. they've been around for ages and (almost) never paid anyone. do a google-search and you'll find somewhere on some forum some guy a few years back got paid after several years of waiting and in the end initiating legal action (so, if i remember correctly, he actually hired a lawyer, did the paperwork, etc, not just threatening to do it, which is as far as 99% of scammed bettors are willing to take it, and books know this).

anyway, consider your money lost. arbing out of a scam sportsbook makes no sense at all, you are gambling. if you win a long shot with ssp, that's not money you are winning (however, it is real money you are losing), it's worth nothing as you can't cash out. it's basically the exact same strategy as laying longshots on the exchanges without cover and makes no sense trying to get your ssp balance out this way.

I once received cash from SSP after I had placed a winning bet. I requested them to transfer an amount in the lower 4 digit range (DM at the time) to my bank account, and they did this immediately. That was in the early or mid-1990s, before they ever went online. At the time I received a printed catalog once a week in which all their betting offers were listed, and then I called them on the phone to place my bets. I even visited their London offices once and talked to one of the managers, it seemd to be an honorable operation. Later I scaled down my betting activities. I placed my last bet in early 2009, after which I had a credit of approx. 40 Euros left. Today I decided to make a soccer bet and use up what credit I have left. But I cannot find the company any more on the net. http://sspclub.com is not a valid address any more. Does anybody know what happened to the company?
