#42I won't disclose any names, but I will disclose additional facts as necessary.
I reread the emails, even the ones I received AFTER I withdrew from the complaint.
SIA promised to pay you if you could verify that you were the authorized card holder. You used a card that was in your husband's name. You (meaning the the wife who made the complaint) submitted documentation for the husband. But the husband is not the one who used the cc - it was the wife.
I explained exactly what you would need to do to win this dispute: you would need to have your credit card issuer confirm that you were an authorized user of that card. This was the issue of fact to resolve. If you can prove that you were authorized to use that card (meaning your credit card had your name on that account), you can still salvage this. If you can't, it does not matter what accounts you share with your husband. If you challenge the charge, and SIA submits a wife's signature instead of the husband's, the bank won't honor it. This is why many books don't allow third party deposits.
Now, if you were an authorized user of the card, you're not a third party. So this takes us back to... Were you an authorized user of the card when you made the deposit?Comment -

#43Hopefully he will post the facts and then we can all form an opinion... I can honestly say that probably 95% of the disputes I have seen in here that I have agreed with the majority and/or SBR. Sometimes the rules arent player friendly but the majority of them are in the best interests of all involved and works out in the end...Comment -

#44Justin, maybe she is confused as to what "authorized user" means... I understand it as a LEGAL contract with the bank granting authorization for the wife to use the card with no restrictions. NOT, the husband saying, "Here honey, go by yourself something nice...."Comment -

#45Justin- I copied what SIA said about 3rd party cards-
but yes I am an authorized user, but my card with that bank has a different number- so does that mean you dont think I deserve to get paid???
reread their 3rd party email to me. THEY EXCEPT THEM., so either way I get paid. right????
they said as long as 3rd party sends the forms its cool.

#47Thank you for being a member of Sports Interaction.
Our records show that there has been a deposit made to your Sports Interaction account through the use of third party funding via credit card and this is not permitted by our Terms & Conditions.

1. A valid photo ID from the card holder (ex. passport, driver's license, etc.) Your name, date of birth and the expiry date must be clearly visible. Note: All other information may be hidden, for security purposes. However, it is suggested that the address be left visible.
2. The front and back of the credit/debit card, signed, with all sides visible, and with all information clear and legible, such as name and credit card number. Note: You may cover the middle eight digits of the credit card number, as well as the CVV number on the back, for security purposes.

#49Mel,
Since you chose to air this dispute in the public forum, as a non-interested third party, I will give my opinion from an unbiased perspective:
Where you are wrong:
It is actions and attitudes like yours that cause the rest of us to go through 1,999 rules about bonuses, deposits, and withdrawals. Why not use your card instead of your husbands? Why use a card at all? Why not use ** or ** and be done with it? There is little doubt in my mind that if you had lost, you would have claimed unauthorized usage and made a **********.
Where the book is at fault:
The book is at fault for even accepting the deposit, and I find that in a majority of these cases, if the book would have spent as much time investigating a deposit as they spend investigating when it is time to payout, there would be a lot less of these disputes. But no, get the money, and then we'll find a reason not to pay..... that is what needs changed in this industry.Comment -

#60Perhaps you should try covers.com/index.aspx?t=0 They are a sponsor there. Good luck, you'll need it.
SBR rates SIA D+, or to be avoided. (to be fair, that rating is too low, but nevertheless that is SBR's suggestion)Comment -

Justin, should I copy and paste the email you sent me when you basically told SIA that you consider this matter closed and not to pay me? Why did you do that? Cause you got offended when I said that I didn't need you on the case? You have all the evidence in your face and you were siding with scamsia.com. I have all the evidence anyone needs. Hell, I am the only one producing any. You tell me what you want on this site and I will produce it on this forum. What do you want? Emails from who? What proof that I already haven't given. I will give it. Justin won't respond. He has everthing he needs to close the deal the correct way. Why not do it?Comment -

#65melinsurance,
I was reviewing SIA's decision. They provided proof that you were not an authorized user of the credit card you used to deposit. There was one issue of fact: were you an authorized user. I asked for this repeatedly. You never gave me this, and asked me to withdraw from the case. I have withdrawn, and consider it closed. I didn't tell SIA not to pay you - I'm simply allowing you to pursue this on your own. With the evidence I've seen so far, they are within their rights to not pay the winnings, and refund the deposit to the card.Comment -

#66justin HOW COME YOU KEEP AVOIDING THIS FACT- Did you see the email they sent that says they accept 3rd party cards? since you dont count me and my husband on the same account with different card numbers as "authorized user" then fine, call it a 3 rd party transfer.
In that case- refer to the email that I sent you and copied the whole earth on this thread.
The part where it states they do accept it all they need is the info!!!!
just answer that for me.Comment -

Justin, will you please attach it for us either in a new threat title or if you can, right here. I want everyone to see it. Or I can email it to you all if you give me your address. The form has the sportsinteractio.com symbol on the top left and the whole form is for me and my husband or whoever wants to put a credit card on file to agree that it is ok.
ITs in plain english! Joseph from SIA sent it to me. PLease read that and the email I posted and put 2 and 2 together. There is no other way to see it. Thanks!!!! They all just want me to go away so they dont have to pay, but its a scam and they shouldnt!Comment
