Here's a little fun fact to keep in mind if you are betting soccer props at BetOnline...apparently, if you are betting something like both teams to score, and a team scores into their own net, that counts as a goal for the team that scored into their own net. Lol.

So did both teams get credited with a goal? The team that gave up an own goal & the other team?

No, the final score in the game was 3-0 (with 2 goals actually being scored by the winning team, and 1 scored by the losing team into their own net).

I think you need to rephrase that to "it shouldn't be possible for that to be a loss". Because, apparently, it's entirely possible :-( And, after attempting several times to get this changed, it will apparently remain that way. Needless to say, I will limit myself to betting on the "yes" side of this wager at BetOnline in the future...

If you fill in a sportsbook complaint form SBR can query it with a manager for you.

Ok, I've filled out a complaint form.

As indicated in the complaint, if this is how they grade these wagers, so be it. I don't want to make a big fuss over this, lest my account get closed because I'm far too knowlegdeable a sports bettor or something silly like that. It seems screwy enough to at least have SBR verify it, though.

Both team score NO is not a loser, they probably just made a mistake grading it.

Nope, I contacted them a few times to try and get this changed, and they were insistent that it was graded correctly. Their original response (via email with customer service, so you're not necessarily going to get an accurate reply) - was that "No" was a loser unless the game was a 0-0 tie. That seemed totally ridiculous to me, so after I contacted them via live chat that's when I got the "own goals count" response. At that point it seemed like a losing battle, so I left it at that. Like I've said, if that's how they grade these wagers, so be it, as long as they're consistent. We'll see if SBR gets a different response than I did, but it wasn't just a simple grading error.

If that's truly what the bet was they've certainly graded it incorrectly.
You have every right to pursue the matter as far as you can rather than simply accepting it.

That's encouraging to hear. As far as I can tell it's still a loss right now, but hopefully it will get changed sometime soon.

FYI, the wager has now been changed to a win. It took some doing, but eventually things got straightened out.
