    shared IP adress?
got a friend at work who's been stiffed too many times by his local, now him and the three guys he lives with are looking for an offshore. They all have their own laptops but share the same wifi. These are college kids living off campus trying to get a hundy down on the Patriots. There is NO Way any of them could have the same book, corect?? I've had great luck with Heritage but don't want them to get clipped for any stupid 'syndicate betting' chit on the outside chance they win. i guess my question is...do any of the books make any kind of exception on the physical adress thing? It would seem weird to me that a book would preclude an entire apartment complex from having an acct just because they technically have the same adress. Any insight anyone could throw my way would be appreciated.

Most books say 1 account per IP or residential address, so they will need permission from any book. Too risky to just do it and hope.

Only 1 of them will be able to take a bonus and they should take care to make sure they dont all bet the same game for more than 1 players limit.

And dont play at the same poker table.

Tell them to be proactive and contact the book before creating accounts. Some will say no regardless but others will have measures in place to deal with it ie no bonuses, etc. Just creating the accounts and trying to salvage things after though is no bueno for anyone and might even get you stung if you and your work friend log in at work.

Does SBR staff suggest that a customer call in a play when not able to login on a familiar device? or is this a possible ISP # issue?

They could setup and use a vpn for each computer so that they never show the same ip address.

The best way to hide your IP is by using a VPN. Alternatively, you may use Proxy, Tor browser, Mobile or Public Wi-fi networks.

... and then register with different names but the same exact physical address?

Only if you think they may be idiots.

I think that if they realize their IP addresses need to be different then the home addresses should be different as well.

Using a different physical address is easy.

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't everyone that uses shared wifi have the same IP? This isn't sarcasm, I really am this lost when it comes to technical chit. Then there's the issue of payouts........my books asked for enough proof of address items I thought i was tryin to get into the CIA. (all for my protection, of course). Believe it or not, I'm glad they're as thorough as they are. All responses are appreciated.

                        Yes.

IMO IP is not proving nothing. Bookies have advanced tech. to detect possible abusers IE flash cookies, betting patterns, browsers footprints..... Mostly they are outsourcing the technical part of protection.
