Is it normal for sportsbooks to charge a 10% withdrawal fee?

Most poker sites do not charge for withdrawals, I do not know of many sportsbooks that have free withdrawals. Most all of my sportsbooks, if not all, charge a fee for withdrawal. You would think after paying juice, that books would give a break and allow us to withdraw our money for free. Not the case.

I've been with a few different ones and there was never a charge. Some of them are amongst the highest rated here. This is the first time I've come across a sportsbook that charges for withdrawals.

I have and have had accounts with numerous sportsbooks and I don't pay withdrawal fees to any of them.

Withdrawals fees are fairly standard. Not based on percentage. GTBets has some pretty high withdrawal fees ($50) which is one of its major negatives. Always have to find out what withdrawal fees are before you open an account and under what conditions if any the fee is waived.

I decided to close my account and I had $27 left in it as I made the withdrawal with the 10% fee. So I try to make another withdrawal and it says that withdrawals are not currently allowed on my account. I contact their support and tney tell me that because I have less than $100 that I cannot make a withdrawal. I tell them I want to close my account and they tell me that I'll have to play with the money first as I cannot withdraw it. They told me that I'd have to have $160 in my account as there would be a $60 withdrawal fee.

So I used up the money and lost but closed my account anyways.

In Australia at least that requirement would be illegal.

I am on to their support and looking for the name of the regulatory authority to make a complaint to. They keep telling me that I would have to speak to a manager to get that information and they keep giving me a freephone number that doesn't work in my country.

the higher fees usually $60 apply to the first two wd's only
which has to do with the bw... after that they have much cheaper
options... I admit to using gtbets sometimes because i've never had a problem
but the first two wd's are indeed highway robbery.

I don't think you have much ground to stand on. It says right on their web site that the minimum for a P2P is $100. I don't know what more disclosure you need.
