      Interesting article hareeba! But to me it seems a bit vague / lacking knowledge (unless I'm missing something regarding bitcoin). It states an athlete could open accounts anonymously - yes if he had access to other people's passports / documents. Just because bitcoin is anonymous, doesn't mean the account holder would be anonymous. They would still need to conform to KYC verification otherwise bitcoin gambling would be illegal surely?

        I could go ahead an open a dozen different accounts at a bitcoin book like Nitrogen and they would never even know if I lived in Iceland or Egypt. No need to supply verification in order to withdraw. This is why I can't believe so many US bettors still bang their head against a wall paying outrageous withdrawal and West Union fees when an alternative exists.
