Why does AsianConnect brag about Skype betting? / Also Bitcoin Question
Are there issues with just logging onto the account they've set up for you and betting?

It seems odd that they want you to know you can do it over Skype. I would think that would make live betting especially very hit and miss.

Can anybody comment who has experience using this service?

Also I see they now accept Bitcoin. Does that mean you can withdraw your funds after every bet without contacting them? Or is there still a procedure to go through that is not automated?

Probably because a lot of countries block gambling websites, but not Skype.

They are not a sportsbook in itself, they only provide agent services for a few big sportbooks. One of their selling points is to allow customer bet larger amount than any single book allows. Obviously if a player wants to bet bigger than limit, he can not bet directly in sportbook, he can use Skype to instruct AC to do it.

I guess what I'm asking is if they opened a Pinnacle account for me would betting into it go just as fast as if I opened one directly with Pinnacle? When I talked to them they seemed a little hedgey about this, and stressed Skype use and it wasn't about limits. That's what got me wondering.

Again...would appreciate responses from those who use this broker and speak from experience.

Asian betting market is not so simple, they know it better than most players since its their business, and when you want to bet big, just by having some accounts you will never be able to get price and volume as they when you give your order and conditions to them and they hit the market with all the official and unofficial(ie. deep market) channels they have access to... also some people are just lazy and some need personal service like that...

"Regulated" doesn't mean nothing. We have Canbet and other examples.

But if the biggest bet you'd make is the limit bet that Pinnacle allows, then is it your sense you can just use the Pinnacle site they give you an account for?

I guess I'm really hoping to hear from people who tell me "yes" because they do it themselves.

                      Canbet was not regulated.

It seems only the Australian bookies are anywhere near properly regulated (with the exception of those licensed in the ACT).

just open up accounts at individual books

                          no need for 3rd party

flat out silly and a gimmick

you are totally wrong. they can give you higher limits let say 5 fold or even more, and you can get better odds then with normal account.

I opened account with them. They provided me with Pinnacle account. Yet that account have had all sorts of software related problems!

I have tested their Skype betting as well. At times limits are decent but again nothing special. Skype betting does not get you the limit much higher that Pinnacle offers already. What it does though is to get you a higher juice.

If you are from a banned country you dont need to do any IP masking to bet into Pinnacle.
