    betonline refusing to credit bonus to my account

    -lose some football bets on saturday, balance gos down to 0
    - check with livechat, i am eligable for a 25% bonus on my next depsoit. this does not include book to book transfer, my preferred method
    - a few hours later, i transfer in 1k from another site just to have some $ in there for nfl sunday
    - there website does not work on nfl sunday (pretty irrelevant to story)
    -monday i send my 3k depsoit through other method (couldnt do this on weekend)
    - monday i send email making sure the 25% bonus is added to my account
    - today i recieve replly to that email stating i cant get a bonus cause i already have 1k in account
    -i check website for rules. i click on "promotions" then i click on "terms and conditions" next to lifetime bonus guarantee. there are 13 bullet points. not 1 of them mentions anything to do with current balance. i search website further and eventually find the rule hidden somewhere. granted there terms and conditions say to see website rules, but wtf would you just not put the rules right there?? why hide them? to trick me? at least put a link.

    i think live chat telling me on saturday im eligable, and the rule about having a balance not being readily visible, should be enough that the bonus must be honored. this should not be a game of getting taken advantage of. i 100% was not going to make this deposit for 3k if i was not going to receive the bonus. i was under the full impression that i was to recieve a bonus on this deposit. i have filed an sbr complaint and emailed alex but have not yet recieved a response. whether they make good and fix this or not, i want others out there to know what has gone on here.

    i have already filled out a complaint. i have now received a reply from alex that he will look into it tomorrow when at office. i just dont think that having this rule mentioned somewhere on the website is enough. put it in the terms and conditions and there are no problems. i had just double checked with livechat on saturday. grrrrr-frustrations. hoping they make it right.

    I have had my share of crazy frustrations at BetOnline.
    I eventually got to speak to Alex and if was fixed.
    Sad to say the CS is probably the worst in any business in any country i have ever dealt with----but as long as you can reach Alex chances are it will be fixed.
    I had a good conversation with him and was impressed with his commOn sense marketing skills, and for the life of me I can't figure out why they hire the bottom of the Panama barrel.

    These guys are classic bait and switch artists with bonuses. I got a bunch of bonus offers from them via unsolicited text and email which weren't advertised on their website, and every time I asked for more details they told me the bonus offer I received had already expired.

    The last one email I got in an account I haven't used for around three years said I had a free $500 waiting for me in my BetOnline account, "use it or lose it" before Sunday the 11th. In very tiny print at the bottom of the email it said "free money in the account is a 100% free play requiring a deposit which expires on Sep 11, up to a max of $500." So I emailed them on Saturday the 10th to ask about the terms of that 100% bonus and was told the bonus offer had already expired.

    I've gotten numerous bonus offers via unsolicited texts and emails and they all end the same way, contact them to ask about the terms and am told "that bonus offer has already expired." Betonline is practicing obvious bait and switch tactics.

    can someone from sbr confirm that my complaint has been received? hoping alex makes this right today........ (or at least refunds me my deposit in full in a timely matter. thats cool by me too)

    Your complaint was responded to today, within a business day.

    It would make it easier for us if you'd let us just communicate on your behalf. When you file a complaint but want to launch your own inquiries with the same people, it's basically like having a 3-way conversation. Rest assured every question you'll ask, we'll ask. That's what we're here for. =)

    2- as always, please point out 1 untruth i have posted in this complaint or any other posts that were ever made by me. i always post facts and this seems to bother you. why anyone would have a problem with truths being posted in this forum is mind boggling. thats what this forum if about, the truth about sportsbooks.

    great to hear, hasn't hit my account just yet.

    my obvious recommendation is to put all the terms that arent known by a reasonable customer directly under the "terms and conditions" next to the bonus on the promotions page!

    This was a somewhat unusual case, you depositing before your "to be bonused" deposit hitting via another method, to be fair.
    But hey you called us on it, we looked at it (cause on the surface it DID look like NOT bonusing you WAS the right decision), but seeing how you had what must be your first ever massive losing streak here, we did what we think is the right thing.

    And we will clarify those rules a tad more.
