Needed that Blackburn equalizer just before HT. With Metz op 1-0 against 10 men a Blackburn victory is key.

Watching Dortmund against (my) Ajax and I must say Dortmund has not impressed thus far. Ajax had two good chances to open the score whilst Dortmund also had one or two. No real pressure on the Ajax goal though. I need a Dortmund victory for some bets but my Ajax heart needs an Ajax win...

So far a good day! If Bayern takes care of business tomorrow it's a better day! Only real letdown was the lack of scoring in the Dortmund/Ajax and AC Milan/Anderlecht matches, killed my small overs parlay. Can't bitch though, in the green. And nice call on the Blackburn/Metz game. Late goals in a few games made for a profitable day. My first full season betting/following the major soccer leagues/tournaments, lotta fun so far! I'll leave the question of a possible underdog to those that know more; only started betting/following soccer about 9 months now, still have a lot to learn! I do read a lot, look at stats, and watch a lot of games, and there are a number of knowledgable cappers here who know their leagues/teams pretty damn well (I'm US). Burk (of course, his thread!), EaglesPhan, Ogucci, Vaughany, Belvedere, Zizoudane, all post and are worth checking out. Sure I'm leaving some out. Hopefully some of them weigh in.

Well.. That Detroit/Oakland game escalated quickly! 12-2 final score.. damn. That WNBA game hit fairly easy though, so with the multi's you should be up some units bottom line!

As for the underdogs.. tough call! I don't really see any of the "smaller" teams perform an Apoel this year. PSG will get to the knock out stages quite easily I think, but can you really call them underdogs with the money they spent this summer?

Think you should be okay, Columbus is fighting for that 5th position (last playoff spot) and Chivas has been on a downward spiral, giving up lot's of goals. San Jose top of the conference and highest scoring team; Portland (and Chivas) bottom of the conference and on the road. Don't believe in jinxes, so cash those tickets!
