LOCK of the Day Thread: Contribute yours today!
Had an idea, and of course it may turn out to be a silly one, but I wanted to start a thread where anyone can post their football/soccer lock of the day. There are no limitations or rules regarding the price or amount of juice, so anything from a plus money underdog to a -900 favorite will be accepted, as long as you consider it a "can't lose" lock! Just post one pick per day, don't bash anyone else's pick, and GOOD LUCK!

As my lock of the day to start things off:

Everton -626 to win vs. Leyton Orient

They should stroll to an easy 2+ goal win.

Everton's assistant said they are treating this match like it's a Prem game and taking the competition seriously. Mirallas might start as well

          everton wins easy obviously....

          the
+2.5 seemed nice but makes me think the -2.5 hits....with any luck it's a 3-0 game so it stays under the 3.5 total.

Are you going to keep a running tab of records as well? That might make people think twice before posting....

Anyways I got a parlay of Everton/LA Galaxy...I got Everton at -533 and LA at -334 so bet is -110

Yea, I think this thread would be good (if people actually contribute their strongest locks) for creating doubles or parlay fillers.

My posted lock today was Everton, which at -626 has very little value on it's own, but thrown into some parlays, can really add value.

Especially when it is a no-sweat 5-0 (4-0 by half!) winner.

Came across this late, so take if for what it's worth. Everton ml was too juicy, but Everton -2 paired with RM/Barcelona over 3 (+198) seemed like a no brainer. So far so good

Well, blow me. Half win. RM could have scored 4 goals in the first half. Guess there's no such thing as a lock

Because they are solid at home and Villa probably have the weakest team in the league

Thought Newcastle was the right side, but EPL has been so crazy this year so far... Just look at some of the results between Man U, Arsenal, Man City, Southampton, etc..

It was between Newcastle and San Jose -1, -1.5 in MLS at plus money... Guess I should have went with my MLS play to post in the lock of the day since it was an easy 4-0 winner.

Interesting, how come so confident in this bro? S-Pulse beat Tokyo away from home in April and they only had 9 men on the pitch after two red-cards before the goal. Tokyo have lost more games at home than they have won at home as well this season

This is considered an important match for both teams and I didn't expect Tokyo to waste an opportunity to win such a game.
Tokyo crushed a good team as Vegalta in previous round.
Line rose up to +170, IMHO it's worth a try. At least +0.5 seems legit.

Like Columbus PK at better than Evens tonight. Columbus in great form and have a solid record against New England, and coming off a solid 2-1 win (scoring two in last ten minutes) against the in-form Montreal who'd won 5 on the bounce going in to that game. Revolution meanwhile haven't won in last 10 games including 3 losses and 2 draws in last 5 home matches. For Columbus Federico Higuain is in hot form - two goals two assists in last few games, and Arrieta is decent along side him. Josh Williams and Julius James are also back from suspensions, whilst one of REvelution's key players in Sene is out injured (top goal scorer for them this season). Bengtson is also out injured, he scored one of the goals in the previous game a few weeks ago and was one of New England's most dangerous players. Only issue here for me might be Columbus' fatigue due to heavy schedule

They were my pick of the night, and cost me in three parlays...Had they won I would have had a huge night....Had they tied I would have had a better than good night. dangggg.
