Actually, yes. They're trying to make the game as slow as possible, so it would be easier to defend against an opponent. When you don't have Ronaldo or Messi in your squad, discipline is the only thing that can grant you the result.

I have heard few people saying EPL is monotonous. Most of the times I hear it is the most entertaining league... I don't know if it is true because I don't watch too much of the other leagues so I can't compare... but anyway it is still my favorite league.
