City v United - Great odds or a trap???
Prior to United losing to both Blackburn and Newcastle, Manchester City's odds were 13/10.

They're now 11/10 to beat Manchester United in 90 minutes, at home on Sunday.

Personally I think that represents great value considering the performances of the last two in their recent games, and that City have already destroyed United 6-1 this season (check out City's attacking stats)!!

United's defence looking awful. Yes, I would expect Fergie to change things, and certainly be more defensive-minded in this game. But even still, they're lacking. Without a world class goalkeeper, without a right back. Phil Jones has looked poor at centre back recently. So has Rio.

City win. Anyone disagree? If so, please say why...

I think M. City gonna win. They're scoring a lot at home, and United's defense are in terrible form.
Anyone thinks the odds for City are going to get higher than it is now ? (2.17)

I forgot the Africa Cup ... Yaya and Kolo Toure will miss the match and the next weeks because of it

In my opinion especially Yaya Toure is very important for the Citizens

City are also playing Liverpool on Wednesday while United have a 6 day break. That puts some additional pressure on Mancini and his rotation approach. He can't play the same starting XI with only 2 days break and Liverpool game will be a tough one too.

I like Man City or Draw here. Have it in a $11 multi needing just Arsenal to win as well. Hope it gets up!

City gonna win this by at least 2 goals. Common, they dnt respect united anymore, no evans, smalling, vidic. Ferdinand too slow, Jones bn poor at the defence, Evra too eratic and am sure the Old man wil use De gea. No good midfielder and rooney has bn shit, always complaining on any blip. Going wit Mancity win big

it would have been a good tackle 5 years ago but the rules of today say that if it is a two footed tackle it is a sending off even if he does not touch the other player

All goalkeepers of United are not up to premier league standard. That is why they are getting beaten by teams who didn't manage to beat them in past 10 years.

It wasn't two-footed though. Only his right foot touched the ball. His left leg was trailing far behind Nani.

no red card there... but was a thrilling game. somehow it gives me a feel that FA is 2nd rate competition although everybody claims it isn't

Yeah, the game was interesting because 5 goals were scored and most of them were good though the game became thrilling only after City tried to bounce back in the game in the second half. The first half was one way passage.
