    Say Goodbye to Ruud Gullit
Not sure if going to Chechnya is a good career move, but got to admit he has balls for sure. Not sure what happened to the former coach, but people disappear in that region pretty quickly.

One of their heads Kadyrov praised Gullit for being a "real man" who knew no fear and was not worried by Chechnya's dubious security reputation. "Men should never be afraid of a thing. A man only knows fear when he loses his honour and dignity," the chief of Chechnya told Sport Express. "He has made a decision and that shows that he is a real man," said Kadyrov.

Former Netherlands football star Ruud Gullit is feted in Chechnya as he takes up his new job as coach of Terek Grozny.

Unfortunately, he's a bad coach. No idea how to teach soccer.

Only place in the world left that will pay him to coach soccer. It's a pretty dumb move too. That country is hot right now with terrorists and no one can be sure that he won't get kidnapped for ransom since he is a big celebrity.

Gullit will emerge a stronger person and coach for this experience. He is already adequately equipped for many coaching jobs. Although I suspect the clinching factor for him taking this job was the prospect of a large pay check.

Yeah I'm sure he's being compensated very well for this challenge. This is probably some sort of marketing ploy on his part to show he's willing to coach at any level, with the hope that somewhere down the line he's afforded a shot at the Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, or Premiership opening.

I dont care what happens to this guy. Hes a douchebag and a former Feyenoord player.

He's collecting big money from a country where human rights means nothing and people very poor.

                  Piece of shit.

When you hear Gullit talk about soccer it is remarkable how general his insight is, and how void of detail. He was an intuitive player, who had some great years with Milan, but wherever he will go as a coach he will fail. He's an amateur coach. The last club to find that out was LA Galaxy.
