Youthfull team with a couple of very talented players, but very inexperienced. Might cause an upset or two along the way, but I don't expect them to finish in the top three spots.

What do you think of FC Utrecht? Will they make it in the top 5?

They have a pretty good team, especially like the little guy Mertens. Van Wolfswinkel is finally starting to find the net also, although it's still early in the season offcourse.

PSV and Ajax will reclaim the top two spots I think, the spots behind them will most likely be filled with AZ, Twente, Utrecht, Feyenoord, Heerenveen (I expect them to come back strong this year). Groningen and even NEC might throw themselves in there as well, although I don't expect either of them to break the top 5.

More can be said when the transfer deadline has passed, because a lot can change before that. Don't expect many changes in the Utrecht side though, but PSV is rumoured to keep an eye on Mertens in case Afellay will be sold.

Rumour has it that Vitesse is targetting Milan's Khaladze as their first major signing btw.

I know mate, and it is painfull to see. Guess the miss of champions league the last few seasons has been a killer for Ajax' finances. Let's hope they do the trick against Kiev next week and secure the club €14.000.000 which is really needed to fill some gaps.

Don't think so. By playing against Kiev he isn't to use in Champions League for the big teams and at this moment there aren't a lot of clubs that can afford him. This week there was a rumour that Ajax should sell their big players if they don't qualify for the CL but the next day that was denied by the director of Ajax. As a fan I would like to see Suarez the full season with El Hamdaoui up front.

Latest rumour is that Klaasjan Huntelaar will join Vitesse but I don't take that too serious, I have seen so much names passing by in a few days....

Vitesse has just been taken over by a rich georgian businessman, so rumours are common at this point. I wouldn't take that seriously either, but you never know who they're gonna get. They really want some big signings this summer.

Ajax kept a clean sheet for the first time this season. 3-0 win over Roda. Another clean sheet on Wednesday and they're in the CL. The Ajax defense had the shakiest start to the season I can remember, but with a good result against Kiev the damage (in points) would be kept to a minimum. Huge game.

Ajax' defense was still very shaky, especially in the first half. Roda played like crap last night though and missed their main striker through injury, even the Ajax defense couldn't help them score goals
