Pretty huge game in the next round. Germany-England could be a semi final, I think England gets through.

You might be underestimating USA's ability to score late in games though. They do not fold under pressure. Ghana won't get more than 1 goal against Howard. I think Ghana is very lucky to be in this position right now.

Yes Ghana might be lucky but the USA had no luck. Isnt luck part of this? THe usa should be out right now. They got lucky to get that laughable goal in the england game and it took them 90 + mins to score against Algeria. The game is a coin flip to be honest .

Yeah I agree, in a coin flip game I'll take USA because they know how to close games.

Our 100 pt bet on Germany to the semi's is pretty much this game right here

yeah didn't we have a bet on Germany too? It was in some elses thread where we said it. its only 100 pts don't care if you don't want to do it. We can just bet on the England Germany match instead.

These fvcks cost me a 35x parlay also. I got a parlay including Brazil-Portugal, England-Usa, Mexico-Uruguay and Germany-Serbia to qualify pays 35x to 2x.

I don't do this often especially on a serious thread but I've an incredible faith that Chili won't qualify the group stage.

Ghana is extremely lucky to even advance.
1. all their goals were as big gifts as they can be - two penalties including one stupid handplay by vidic. Besides that they didn't create many goalscoring opportunities.
2. they really benefited from other teams inability to grab their chance. All serbia had to do was to win their last game or even if not this than only to tie it at 2-2 and they would've been through. As for australia, they should have won against ghana (they really outplayed them and missed some huge opportunities dispite even being down a man).

As for US i really think they fully deserved to be through. You talk about a fluke goal ag england - true, but they had two legit goals which were disallowed. Plus, the US had tons of chances ag algeria and i was stunned with how long this game was goalless.

The only reason which I see for Ghana is that they're the only african team left, so we might expect a little 'help' from FIFA / referee, but don't expect them to get the treatment the koreans had 4 years ago. I am definietely going to play US to advance big, but will see how the lines move by that time

Not very certain. They don't have good strikers and seem to be struggling. Slovakia have under-performed as well but they have players who could cause trouble. Italy game is hard to call. Unders seem the best bet to me. But I want to hear what LB has to say on this.
