It is GMT+10 on East coast and GMT+7 on West coast. Only 1.5 time zones in between though. (the rest is twilight zone)

in this case exactly equalst to money line (-0,5 AH = money line = to bet on a specific team and not against it)

That's why it bothers me. Is it really the same? At my book -0.5 AND ML have different odds:
-0.5 = -111
ML = -108

So should I grab ML here?

AH-0.5 and ML are the same. it's a known exploit to use AH-0.5 instead of ML if the -0.5 offers a better line. int that case, take advantage of it.
if you dont have it, just get ML instead. not a problem either.
