oh by the way, we have the supercup in 2 days....steaua (cuo winner) versus otelul galati (title winner). the game will be played on neutral ground, and most likely, steaua will have like 90% of the fans in the crowds.

I will not make a bet here, since it's the first game of the season, and of course, Steaua has changed half their team. But i will provide you with all the information you would need, if thinking of betting here.

Like I've said, the game will take place in Piatra-Neamt. the stadium has 8,000 seats, and most of the people (including locals) will be cheering for Steaua. Consider this as a home advantage for Steaua. The game will start at 8:45 pm, and Piatra Neamt isn't that hot currently as Bucharest....the temperature should be fine, according to the weather forecast.

Helmuth Duckadam managed to save 4 penalties in a row in 1986, when Steaua won the European Champions Cup (the old format of Uefa Champions League). In 1986, Romania was a communist country, and players were not allowed to leave the country to play at other teams outside Romania. That probably was the reason why he had problems with the communist party.
Now he is the president of Steaua Bucharest, but his role is rather decorative.
