I am just going to test an experiment here if you don´t mind? With myself.

First I want to say that I know almost nothing about football, don´t understand the rules and don´t even know the first name of Leo Messi´s wife. Hope you can forgive me for that?

So after that being said I just had a look through 66 games (you can probably find more if you also look at friendly games) that I found that are on for this day to place bets on from all around the world.

I am probably 100% wrong but in my opinion I only found value on 2 of the games for Over 2.5 goals. And those two games were:
1) Finland Veikkausliga, SJK-PK35-Vantaa
2) Norway Tippeligaen, Start-Bodö Glimt

Of these 2 games right at this moment when I am writing this I would say that the value of the odds for Over 2.5 goals on the Norweigean game Start-Bodö Glimt has dropped a little to much the last 12 hours that this selection might perhaps be questionable? From about 2.10 to about 1.70/1.75 on most sporstbooks.

The Finnish game SJK-PK35-Vantaa has also dropped a little in odds but not nearly as much. The odds has just dropped from 2.30-2.05/2.10 on most sportsbooks. So if we are talking about mathematically value this would be the selection I would say still has a lot of value.

But that doesn´t necessarily mean that Jerm3462 will pick this game for today. I would think probably not. I believe he uses totally different criteria for choosing his great selections!

I think this was just a funny guess from my side based only on numbers and have absolutely nothing to do with the actually game of football (as I said earlier) of which I know almost nothing.

The SJK-PK35 Vantaa pick was just pure luck and nothing else. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw first goal after 1 minute and over 2.5 goals already after 22 min. Unfortunately I didn't bet it.

At the moment I only bet your selections Jerm3462. I am trying to focus on discipline, only way to win long term, do you agree?

Hi Stackzilla,

As I told Jerm3462, I was lucky regarding the finnish game SJK-PK35 Vantaa. I was just looking at the movement of the odds and saw how fast it was moving down right after the odds was given out by the bookies. Only minutes after the odds were released the odds started to change which I can only see as a sign of value. It is the same indicator as with stocks/forex. But then of course there are many other things that matters.

I have to admit though that for this finnish game I also happened to see when checking the odds movement, but on another sister-site, that both of the teams had both scored and conceived goals in their last five games which to me was a rather good indicator that the chances for that happening was quite good even in this game, which would mean at least 2 goals. And if 2 goals goes in it is not far from one more.

But once again as I said I really know very little about football, you probably know 1000 times more than me. I was just focusing on a couple of numbers here and there. Nothing serious or anything to built on!

Since the norweigean game Start-Bodö Glimt also went over 2.5 goals in the 68th minute I am almost getting a little paranoid about the nonsense post I did earlier!

I really honestly thought afterwards that it was embarrassing and regretted posting it!

I still believe though that it was just a coincidence that both won. Like hitting two reds after each other at the roulette table. Sometimes you get lucky. Now I will crawl back to my little cave and shut up!
