The home side have scored & conceded in both matches in the group, earning a 1-1 draw @ Northern Ireland after a narrow 2-1 loss to Portugal @ home. Israel got thumped by Russia 4-0 in their last quali, coming on the heels of a 1-1 draw with Azerbaijan. Both teams should be desperate for the W as both are already well behind group leaders Russia & Portugal.

Turkey-Romania Both Teams to Score [+105]
The home side rolled in their last qualifier against Estonia, 3-0. They possess a good quality attack, but do have some issues with youth along the back. As such, Romania should have some chances to score today even if they sit back and look to mainly hit the counter attack. The Romanians have seven goals in two group stage matches against the lower tier teams - but that should still give them confidence that they can score.

IMO, they are a good secondary book to have - they have expanded their options on soccer matches quite a bit over the past year or so to offer options like this. I'm kind of surprised that 5Dimes doesn't offer more of these things.

Waiting for lineups to key this in. If Falcao is in for Colombia, trying this alt. line as Colombia has scoring seven goals combined in their two most recent WCQ matches. Paraguay has conceded multiple goals in each of their last three in qualifying with two of those seeing them conceded three while getting on the score sheet themselves.

I think this match could be a little dicey at times for Team USA. They will be missing quite a few important cogs today with Donovan, Shea, Castillo & Fabian Johnson all out. This is a squad they beat 3-1 on home soil. but the margin of victory came in the 72nd minute. A & B have played much tighter at home, conceding just once in two matches. USA lost to Jamaica and drew with Guatemala in the group so far on the road. Maybe they make it easy on themselves, but I think a two goal margin might be asking a bit with all the components of this match. I think A & B can at least stay within this margin at worst.

Plus money play in Colombia looks in tough shape at the half. 0-0. Do think Colombia has been a bigger 2nd half scoring club, so that's something maybe ... in fact I think their last six goals in qualis have come in the 2nd half, so although a long shot - maybe not totally F'ed yet.

Yeah the handicap for me was massive considering the guys who were out for Team USA tonight + their horrid road form for the most part. Sounds like the pitch was f-ing terrible in this one too. All makes for a low scoring, tight match. Sprinkling a little of the winnings from this on the Mexico-Guyana over 3 for shits & grins so I can watch it and root for something.

Funny shit I read about that match. Guyana coach ... coaching via Skype?! Sold the rights to host the match to Houston, so plenty of Mexican fans will be there - actually probably majority for Mexico.
