Sorry for being late and missing Duquesne. They moved them up from Saturday to 2:00pm today because of weather. At 3:00, Dukes look like a winner but it looks like it will go over which Ferringo added "under" in his write-up.

~1-Unit Play. Take #885 Duquesne (+2) over George Mason (2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22)
I also like a 1-Unit Play on the 'under' in this game. It has been moved up to 2 p.m. today from tomorrow because of the weather and I don't know that either team is going to be that sharp. Duquesne is clearly the better team though and the wrong team is favored. Mason won't even get to play in their home gym here because it is booked for another venue; instead they'll be playing in what is essentially a JUCO gym. Duquesne is a much more experienced team and I think that they will respond to the change better here. I also think they want to bounce back from their bad loss at VCU this week and they will take the cash here.
2-Unit Play. Take #876 Iona (-8) over St. Peter's (7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22)
I think the fact that St. Peter's is currently in first place in this conference but they are a big underdog, and getting bigger, says a lot. St. Peter's has played less than no one. Their schedule has been a joke and I think that Iona will be motivated here to take down the top team in the league. The Gaels have a very explosive offense and if they get rolling tonight they should win this one going away. St. Peter's is not very big, not very experienced, and not very tested. Iona will rally without one of its top players, who is out on a suspension, and I think that their slick-shooting will get them a big win here.
1-Unit Play. Take #877 Fairfield (-2) over Marist (7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22)
I've missed a couple times with Fairfield in their last two games, including a tough backdoor beat. I'm going to ride it out with them against a bad Marist team. The Red Foxes are 4-12 on the season and have lost six straight. Fairfield has at least been putting up a fight and they have the best player on the floor in Marcus Gilbert.
1-Unit Play. TEASER: Take #871 Valparaiso (-3.5) over Wright State (7 p.m.) AND Take #876 Iona (-3) over St. Peter's (7 p.m.)
