Dunkel July sides and totals

Well after Dunkels meltdown in Jun, thought I would look at how he's doing this month so far.

on sides he's 10W-3L

and thought I would also take a look at the totals on his top plays - 6W-4L-3P
(not sure if he had any plays during the all-star break, if so, they are not included in my records)
So looks like he's back in the groove for now, but what a losing streak in Jun.

I'm going to play small on these and will track the rest of July in this thread.

Hi, thank you for your post and your effort.
I tried to find somehow an edge in using the dunkelindex.
I backtested the MLB2012 picks.
- fading and tailing dogs
- fading and tailing favs
- fading and tailing different runs (favoured by 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2 and so on)
- did not backtest the "daily picks" only, because as far as I remember, someone got an answer from Dunkel, that
the "daily pick" is randomly selected from all daily released picks.
- did not backtest totals
It turned out in all backtestings, that it was always a break even. (hitrate AND odds) (or a coinflip, if you want so)
However a coinflip is even better than most of the cappers.
I will follow your thread, maybe you will find the holy grail.

thanks igrok. Dunkel actually had a pretty good run for awhile, then hit a long losing streak in Jun where everybody bailed. Hoping he goes on another winning run here. But either way, just betting small while tracking this.
