Cats are too much work. I have one and the litter box is my nemesis. I keep thinking that she'll kick off soon, but I think she lives just to spite me.

Mine goes to the park across the street to do her business and scratch on tree bark to sharpen her claws. I don't own a litter box. I refill her food and water bowls in the morning, she re-appears when she wants affection, then promptly disappears like 30 seconds later. No idea where she goes.

i have a daughter and i don't think you know love until you have a daughter, as a man. maybe the same is true with a son, i wouldn't know.

Daughters are nice. Boys don't cuddle you as much

And you get over the over protective thing by about the 3rd boyfriend. Plus girls actually twist boys around their little fingers a lot more than us guys realize at that age. I've felt sorry for a lot more boyfriends than I have worried about.
