Saw lightning bolt strike a palm tree that set it on fire and it burned even though it was pouring



Flooding everywhere they don't have sewers here so when it rains the streets flood surprised I made it to work because each time I turned if I had kept going it I would have drove into a wall of water that I would not be able to go through

The storm the other day was different from what we normally get though. Felt like i was in Central America.

UNLV, where I am currently is completely flooded. Classes cancelled.

An underground strip mall across the street from UNLV has been completely ruined with about 4 feet of water flooding all the stores. All Bus routes have been stopped.

I'm sure many homeless that live in an area called, "The Wash", which is a catch-way for flood water have been killed.
