Not a fan of Dodge trucks/Jeeps, but good luck in reaching your bonus quota. I guess a lot of it depends on luck with only 4 days to go.

Sucked....didn't want to wait on anyone. Talked to one guy who is getting a substantial insurance check and is looking to do something Thursday or Friday....feel pretty good about this one.

See post #7. I'm not in the industry, but that sounds like you sold a lot of cars. How was the economy back when you sold 48? In these times 10 does not sound bad.

Not in the industry myself but know from a couple of friends who have been for years that 25-30/mth is normal target range.

Maybe this dealer has really high margins or lots of salespeople?

Big dealership running 28 sales people. Dealership has been averaging about 300-325 new and used sales a month.


Last month sold 14 and I was in 8th place. 1st place had 24.

Back in 1997-2000 I was selling 20-25 a month. 15 average right now is good.

Your a smart man selling used, people will walk in thinking they want a new Dodge/Jeep/Chrystler and see the horrible quality.. Then like any sane person they will run for the first decent car on the lot (The ones dumb enough to stay anyways) which will be all you on the used lot.

I've never sold cars so I can't talk. But I wish you luck.

Should have put SBR Pro on your business card. You would have sold 50 cars. SBR pro is better then CPA, JD, Senator, CEO and Dr. combined. People would have come for miles to buy your cars.
