In a fine establishment that offers first course second course and main course, is it looked down upon to just get a fukkin steak and a beer and call it a day??

Also, what is a quality champagne? Want to know what to ask for.

nah not at all, depends how high end you go though, also depends on cuisine

i assuming you're budget isn't through the roof & you're not trying to portray yourself as a hot shot because the girl (if there's one involved, just the vibe i'm getting) already knows you, just get a bottle of vueve or, moet & be done with it
or if you want to impress a little more get krug or dom

Skipped the fukkin champagne. Got a bottle of pinot noir from California for 78 bucks. Decent. One of their cheaper wines in the house.

Couldnt resist. Went with all four courses. Worth it though, about to have fukk fest '12
