Initially I had thought that the nanny I already had for my other job would cover the hours I needed for SBR at the same rate so it would be SBR pay - nanny fees for those hours = takehome pay. It doesn't work that way because I work for them at night and her agency charges more as a penalty rate. And they also have overtime and a minimum charge even if he goes to bed an hour after she gets here. So for every hour I go over the max per week ie when my child stays up later than normal which happens at least once or twice a week, I'm dinged even more so. It's just the way it worked out between his sleeping schedules at times and my reluctance to switch nannies after this long.Comment -
