Something that is currently getting sensationalized by the media based completely on speculation by know nothing cops who didn't have any evidence of use at the time of the crime (basically anytime weirdness now happens bath salts have become the go to thing to blame until you can disprove it)...

So far the only thing that has been proved is that he was an occasional pot smoker who was a heavy bible reader (which he was carrying at the time of attack ) who had recently talked to friends about expanding his reading list to include the Qur'an...

No news headlines on this since crazed man high on religion doesn't sell newspapers as well as crazed man high on the latest unknown drug...

Yup, and right on the money. It doesn't sell as many newspapers otherwise. Even down here in Costa Rica, the local paper had this big headline about it, saying a guy on bath salts chewed another guy's face off. Buried in the article, they did mention that authorities were waiting on the toxicology reports, and that it was rumored that he had ingested bath salts.
