Anyone use any Sleep Aids?

I used to be prescribed Ambien and Ambien CR, but i am glad i got off that ride.

Now i just take 2 Walgreen's Sleep 2 tabs, same as benadryl

I love a good solid sleep, so i take these every night.

What about you guys?

Took Ambien for years. Got tired of having to get it refilled every month, so I just quit about 8 months ago.

Was a little restless for a couple of nights, but since then I've been fine.

I think 95% of that sh*t is in your head. I just don't require that much sleep....and I'm fine with that.

My doctor prescribed Ambien in May. Its effective but I won't get it refilled. I prefer Temazepam if I need to use a sleeping aid. Again its effective if you use it periodically as is ambien but seems less habit forming. I may check out Walgreens.

Love Ambien. Also take xanex. Doctors love giving out Xanax. Must get a kick back. They give it to you for stress. Two .5's and you are comfortably sleepy. Best part is you can wake up.

Stay away from those walgreens bullshit sleep tabs. Unisom or some crap is bad bad bad. Doesn't help you get to sleep, and doesn't allow you to wake up.

For my money, benadryl (generic found at sams/costco for $3 for like 500) uses the main chemical in unisom, but it allow you to wake up. The main trick, is the half life that benadryl has. It only last for 3-4 hrs. So, it puts your ass to sleep, but by the time you wake up you are not groggy because the medicine has worn off.

sleep2 from Walgreen's has the same ingredient as benadryl, only cheaper cause its generic. Works well for me.

Only issue, especially with the over the counter bullshit, is the tolerance.

When I was in school, and without healthcare (so none of the good shit) I had to rely on the over the counter crap. Took them all, benadryl for the money (as I all ready said).

The problem is, 3 pills at the start put me out. After a year of that shit, I was up to about 5-6 a night. This isn't healthy.

That said, I don't believe in the crap they say about drugs being bad. Some idiots just don't deserve drugs, and some form of natural selection figures that out eventually.

Dose as much as you are comfortable with.

Best sleep, no joke. Is one Xanax, one ambien. Dude - best shit ever. When I am on a relaxing vacation, or a great weekend, that shit is the night cap cocktail of choice.

Honestly (and this is true) I hit the pillow and in less than 2 minutes I am out

Never take sleep aides, never get headaches (seriously have never had one-hangovers yes-headaches nope)

I go to sleep and don't wake up until the alarm goes off at 4am

at one point Ambein wasn't working for me, so i started doing Ambien AND Nyquil LOL My wife thought i was going to kill myself with that combo. Have to say it worked. But wouldn't advise it.

Bullshit, I would advise the hell out of that.

If you need sleep, and want to get the job done, cough medicine works better than anything.

Xanax and nyquil (or ghetto version, doesn't matter) is lovely.

I got one of those overactive brains. Can't turn that shit off. Need something to forcibly put me to sleep. Cough meds, if not tolerance built up, is the go to of choice.

not sure what sleep 2 is but if it contains Diphenhydramine then id trash it. Stuff is very bad and should be off the market. Pro athletes that will take anything to get an edge wouldn't even take that stuff.
