#214Ahh, sorry guys, haven't been on the computer much. Quite sorry about that. I have decided to make it a once a week weigh in. I will have a video posted on Wednesday morning with the results! I still have yet to weigh myself, so I am really hoping that the results are better than expected!Comment -

#215make sure that whenever you weigh yourself, that's when you always weigh yourself. not at night, after a big meal, working out, etc. just do it first thing in the morning and stick with that so it's accurate.
how's it going? what'd you eat today?Comment -

#216Yep, I weighed myself last Wednesday morning man. That's why I'm doing it again this Wednesday morning.
Today on the menu:
Breakfast: Whole Grain Cheerios and Skim Milk
Lunch: A handful of Crasins, a handful of almonds, a grilled chicken sandwich on whole wheat
Dinner: A small scoop of mashed potatoes with homemade low-fat turkey Salisbury steak and a scoop of corn with skim milk
Throughout the day: a few cups of coffee and at least a gallon of water.Comment -

#217see, that's awesome, and definitely the reason that i would never be able to do it.
1 or 2 days, sure? hell even a grocery store when you drop $200 on healthy foods i could do.
but to eat like that every. single. day. is waaay too hard.
i'm with you brother, rooting for you to stick with it, just seems like something you'd get tired of quick, because i think it's more gotta be the mentality of losing weight more than the actual calories you're eating, if that makes any sense at all.Comment -

#218Sucks balls not being able to drink lmao.
But yeah, to be honest... The hardest part about it is never being full anymore. I never eat until I'm full. Like right now I could eat a whole cow but whatever, just gunna go to bed hungry another night and show some of these thread crappers that I can do this.Comment -

#220hahahaha...shit, i meant 'em for a random CreaturE parlay anyway!
i ******* HATE going to bed hungry, and my wife and i don't usually eat until 7 or 8pm during the school year. now, we still eat about the same time but i'm usually up until 3 or 4am every night, so maybe that'll help?
i'm doing a lot better in the summer with all the damn yardwork to be done. drinking lots of water, probably have put in 18-20 hours worth of mulching, edging, digging, unloading dirt/mulch from a truck....yuck. sucks while you do it but it's def exercise. try to get out and do some of that shit, then maybe you could drink a few beers one night or grill a steak.
looking forward to the weigh-in on wednesday. don't worry too much if it didn't go down, or even went up a little, it's just the beginning of the process..Comment -

#227okay, so original weigh in a week ago tomorrow morning was 299.5
i have literally no idea whether sir creaturE has cheated or been diligent, and am going to set the over/under at 298.5.
if you give me time to tighten up the line a bit (read: let me get drunker) i probably actually will take small points bets on this.
anyone?Comment -

#228You only think I lost 1 pound?! Ahhhhhh, I really hope the fkin' scale doesn't say that man!
I been workin' my ass off. I was sick as hell today, didn't make it to the gym, however, I did eat very well today.
We'll see if my hard work has paid off.Comment -

#229Don't worry about what the god damn scale says creature, the fukker is lying to you. Just keep focusing on eating healthy and working out. Ideally you should only lose 1# of fat/week. Too much more than that and you're losing muscle which you don't want to do.
Glad to hear you're still at it and updating us. And it's common to get sick when you just start working out again. Body is constantly rebuilding and repairing so your immune system takes a hit early. No biggie, just stay the course friend.Comment -

#230I never said anything about starvation but simply timing your meals so you don't eat late at night right before you go to sleep. For example, if you go to bed at 2 a.m., you should have dinner no later than 8 p.m. You're far better off eating first thing in the morning as opposed to late at night shortly before going to sleep.Comment -

#240Doesn't matter when you get the calories. You should not go to bed hungry, ever. Always eat something, preferably protein before bed. Not eating before bed is a myth that was debunked awhile ago. And what I was saying about starvation is that if you always eat dinner 6 hours before bed and then sleep 8 hours thats 14 hours without eating. Thats insane. That is a metabolism killer. Your body will recognize this as starvation and slow metabolism way down to conserve energy. Not a good idea.Comment -

#245You may want to explain to him when to eat/drink his fast digesting proteins and when to consume his slower digesting protiens. Also, I'm assuming creature doesn't know a lot about "pre-bed" snacks like almonds, cottage cheese, etc.
