What i would do if i was in your situation, is talk to your daughter about it and make sure you 100% believe her before confronting the guy or getting into contact with johnny law. Jumping the gun would surely ruin any relationship with your friend if it turns out your daughter is just looking for attention. I dont know you or you family but is it possible that maybe your daughter saw her friend get attention and probably recieve sympathy gifts for what she went through, and is trying to get the same? Its a tough situation your in, and i hope you the best.

I knew a kid whose mother was a messed up drug user who never paid attention to her. She made up a lie about a neighbor touching her because her mother would then start paying attention to her and feel guilty about neglecting her so she would buy the kid some gifts. After a few times of this they found out she was making it all up.

Not all kids have to grow up in bad family situations to lie to get attention, especially at age 13. The most prevalent type of person who used to make up spirit possessions were girls of this age. This is why the girl in "The Exorcist" was put at this age.

My wife and I adopted a girl who was molested by her grandfather when she was almost 2 years old She also had drug addict parents that did not want her and left her in a baby seat in the middle of their filthy apartment while they did drugs.
